Default Any thoughts on these two rackets for a 10 year old?

I have an advanced just turned 10 year old. I really want to stay with Wilson rackets because out club sells them. What are your thoughts on the juice and the steam for someone this age?
Thanks!!!

Hey gplracer! Just curious, why are you looking at 27.25" racquets? From the looks of your son's videos, he has no problem generating power and seems it might be a bit less maneuverable for him.

Other than that, I would only suggest a VERY soft string combo as those two models spec fairly stiff.

Hey BMC9670, always good to talk to you. I really was not looking for an extended length racket. I was just looking at all the light rackets made by Wilson that might be appropriate for him. As I see it there is blade lite, juice 100, prostaff 100, pro open lite, pro open, and the steam. I wish the steam was not an extended length. I was worried about the stiffness of the juice. I guess I am old fashion as well. The thing is so darn thick!

Yeah, many of the Wilson's seem a bit stiff. Although, if your son is going to play green dot for another year or two, it's not as big an issue. Hitting those balls with a soft string should be fine with any racquet stiffness.

I use a combination regulation and green with my son, but the repetitive drill work is using regulation, so I like to keep his set-up soft and flexible.

I think for the time being we might just stick with his blade lite.
