Default Vote here for a wildcard in Madrid MS

There are 4 wildcards in Madrid:

1 was assigned to Moyá.
2 are still undecided.
The last one will be decided by popular votation between these 4 names:

Feliciano López
Thomas Johansson
J.I. Chela
F. Santoro

The poll will be closed Oct. 11. Here is the link to vote:

http://www.marca.com/tenis/masters_s.../encuesta.html

I voted for Johansson because he lost his spot because of an eye injury and he´s a Grand Slam winner trying to make a comeback.

Nice posting Zaragoza.
Yeah, i ve got an email about this from the TMS Madrid. I did vote already. The thing is that Marca is a spanish sport newspaper, so it would be an almost sure thing that the spaniards would pick feliciano.
You did good to bring this to a more international level.
Of course, I picked chela.

BTW, where are you from Zaragoza?

Yeah I guess spanish fans are going to vote for Feliciano but he had a horrible season although he can play well in indoors.
I´m from Zaragoza as my nickname says (29/M).
I cannot go to Madrid but I will be sure to watch most of the matches on tv.
Have fun if you can see it live.

that's a good idea to make a poll for one of the WC !
but once we voted, can't we see the current results before the poll is over ?...

No, they keep the results secret to avoid multiple votes if the result is getting close.

Hehe maybe they'll offer ball "something" positions to guys this year also Maybe shirtless men will be chasing balls this year

Jokes aside. The best way to watch a tourney is working at it...you're there all the time..and have the inside info.

I voted Santoro, but I CAN'T PICTURE the Madrid MS without Feliciano, specially when they had a WC to offer him.

The fact that he is the only slam winner amongst the group should be the decider.

I voted for ToJo as well. Not only is he a slam winner but a MS winner too.

Though I'd be shocked if Lopez doesn't get it.

I voted for Tojo and Santoro. Chela on a hardcourt isn't particularly someone that I would like to see.

Tim Henman received a wildcard to play in Madrid.
The popular votation results will be announced in the next hours but I heard Feliciano is ahead. Feliciano will also play doubles with Nadal.
Federer will play his first match on Tuesday, Nadal on Wednesday.
And the greenset surface in Madrid will be the same in the Masters Cup (I think last Masters Cup was played on a faster surface).
