What are the advantages or likings of a dense or a more spread stringing pattern. I noticed the Wilson n6.1 comes in a 18x20 and a 16x18 pattern. Not just the n6.1 but in general, what is going to be the affect due to a stringing pattern?

Dense---more control, less power, less string movement, more string life, less spin (unless strung at low tensions)
Open---more power, more spin, less control, softer feel |
