Default Anyone notice Wilson Australian Open balls have changed?

They're not sold everywhere but the Australian Open balls have been changed in the last year significantly reducing their durability. They used to be one of the harder wearing balls - lasting a couple of hours at least. Since sometime last year they've become more similar to the US Open ball in terms of lifespan.

Has anyone else played with them and noticed this? It's annoying to say the least and I can't think of any reason other than to make you buy balls more often.
