I prefer just leather. I've tried many overgrips... Yonex Super Grap, Wilson Pro, Volkl Super Grip II, Klip Kobra, Babolat Syntec... and some others. My favorite by far was the Volkl overgrip by the way. However, I still strongly prefer straight leather, so I guess I'll have to get a Gamma sleeve to increase the grip size.

I love the Volkl leather and mine is still in great condition, but I think I'll need a new one when I put the sleeve on. Anyone have any suggestions for an alternative, since TW doesn't sell them anymore?

I'm a straight leather fan. No overgrips. I don't sweat much at the hands, so I don't have an issue with slipperiness, but a friend of mine who does uses a product called a "Tacky Towel". It seems to be a piece of cloth impregnated with beeswax (I think.) He wipes the grip with it on the changeovers. Seems to work for him.

In terms of different brands, I have used:
The original leather grips that came on the PK
Babolat
Volkl
Prince

In terms of a supplier, none of the major tennis places have any selection any more. However, there's some guy in Georgia (don't have his name handy, I'm at work) who is kind of a "Grip Guru" who has a huge selection of current and vintage (Not used) grips taken off racquets and preserved.

If anyone has any specific questions about the grips, I'd be happy to expound, but the OP was just taking a survey.

I do the same (with a Wilson or a Yonex overgrip). I'm a sweat-er.
In the cool months, I use just plain leather. There is nothing synthetic that can match the feel. Sorry cows. I know Meat is Murder, but, erhhm, leather is better.

I think Edberg and Hingis in addition to Mac and Gasquet use leather sans overgrip.

Wilson and Gamma make some of the best Leather grips on the current market. Prince isn't too bad either but seems to dry out a lot quicker than the others.
I love the feel of straight up leather... but my hands definitly get sweaty when I play and can just see my racket shoot right out of my hand and onto the court while serving during a humid summer match here in DC.

I use leather "straight up". I use fairway or prince pro (marron with a black stripe). I tried over-grips, but always took them off after hitting for awhile. over-grips and syn. replacement grips just ain't my thing.

I still use leather grips. I like the feedback I get with just a leather grip.

Yeah, I like the feedback, too.
Often my leather grip sounds like Vince Vaughn, though:

"Baby, poach more. It's dubs and your volleys are so freaking money!"
"Come on, you know you can hit the returns deep and go in on this guy. You're like a big bear, and you're just pawing at the thing."
"[earmuffs] Can't you fcuking move for that? Come on, kid. You're bettah than that."

Prior to ~1930, rackets had no leather grips, just bare wood. I have quite a few that have grooves(possibly to channel away sweat) in the handle. Many of these grips are over 5".

Love the leather; Volkls are great. I'm a sweater, but I used straight up leather when I can, when it's not too hot out.

To me, a nice leather grip on a frame is a sign of a quality product.
