Default western or semi

ive hit w/ a western grip for a while. It's not an extreme western, its just far enough around to be called a western. I keep thinking to myself that the western is gona hold me back at teh higher levels of the game and i try and change it to a semi. The semi really alows me to take it a little earlier and hit through teh court a little better but all my shots just feel more comfortable w/ the western. Do you guys have any thoughts on this, is the western going to hold me back from my full potential.

Grips are a personal thing. You dont want to switch grips unless you really want the benefits of the other grip more then the one you have. Then you must go through a period of learning.
