Maybe, but Diego Alves is actually pretty good player, he was in the finals against Sam Querry in the summer Challenger event. he was blown out but Sam was on a hot streak then. Sam almost beat Fernando Gonzalez in RCA in the summer

I don't know who you're talking about. I'm asking about this lady. I want an update on how miserable her life is right now.

What a horrible call. She needs an eye check.
Or at least some help.

Ahh, yes. Yet another reason Serena is known as a classy well-spoken lady (who called her classy on the other thread?). What's wrong with flipping burgers anyway? It's a perfectly respectable way to earn a living.

that was pretty damn bad. Glad there is hawkeye now for these types of umpires. Capriati looked up at the umpire as if to say "yeah you made a mistake, but in the end she should have gone up there and said something.

Actually she is continuing her judging career here in Portugal.

She was an oficial judge and/or chair unpire in all the national championships and team championships and is a chair unpire for the final Masters.

So no flippin burgers for now!

Was this a Halloween tournament? Why was Serena dressed as a prostitute?

I don't know about that. Doesn't that open up a whole can-o-worms with authority of the ump over the players. If there was a rule stating that if the opinions of both players matched than they could trump the ump (you know that was an awsome rhyme) than it would be acceptable. But under the circumstances I think Capriati did the right thing.

Its a different situation than what happened to Venus at Wimbledon with the scoring during the tiebreak. The scoring isn't a judgement call by the official and the players should have said something then.

Hey Guga_x.
Segundo português que encontro neste forum.
Vemo-nos por aí

That was a dreadful call, I was wondering, because of her name, if she was portuguese... I assure you most portuguese people have better vision and judgement.

I flip out when the ball is on the line and my oponent calls it out. I'd throw her off the chair for that one

Serena basically just kept yelling that "the ball was in, the ball was in. Do you need me to speak in another language?" etc, etc. The ususal polite way she has of expressing herself.
