Volt, in the process of helping you cut 78 lines into 2 , I did note that typo was already in your sig, and figured that it was simply part of the appeal. Figured that you had been trying for something "cool" and "funky", and that maybe the misquote was part of the "uniqueness", the "urban chic".

I'm somewhat disappointed to find out that it was simply a common typo. I'll be having you removed from the door A-list at all of the popular places

. They're potato wedges....I've borrowed this from a yahoo answer:

Quote:
Potato wedges would use a mealier type potato (all-purpose or even russet), they'd be cut into wedge shapes, tossed in seasoning and some oil and roasted in the oven OR deep fried like steak fries.
Here, they're usually served with Sour Cream and Sweet Chilli sauce, and are the most common of the hot "nibble" type food ordered in a pub with beers.

Oh - KK - noting the whole SF Mod upgrade, I noted (maybe for the first time) that DD has 'Moderator' as his 'status' and you don't. Does this mean you're no longer a mod? Or was this a personal preference thing? Have I missed something?

Voltron, you will always be on the A-list here. Don't mind OO, he is sleep deprived today.

We have the same thing here. Those and potato skins are very popular.

I love potato wedges, but only when my mom makes them. Every damn time I eat at fast food I get horrible food poisoning. I guess that gets me fitter though.

I'm curious, errr.... how does food poisoning make you fitter? I don't remember this as part of my personal training study!

On related matters, I think I played & suffered through a very bad bottle of water last night (re-used an old bottle, shouldn't have or should have cleaned it more). Felt *terrible* at times....

I'm fine and thanks for asking. Now, where are my keys. Why am I not wearing matching clothes. Where is my hat. Why the hell is my hair orange. Who put those bags under my eyes? AAAaaaaaarrrrghhnhh! :P

Volt, there's absolutely no need to apologise mate. Look at the number of smileys in my paragraph - read the tone it was written with - I was joking around, having fun - just as you were with me when you suspected signature subterfuge!

You can shed several pounds very quickly from a nasty stomach virus, making you speedier around the court when you recover. Better than Slimfast.

CC I actually text her the day she sent hers, but I waited like 4 hours or so I think that I've already proven myself to be non-needy by not contacting her for a while. Since she sent the text, I take it shes somewhat interested so I'll call her this thursday and see whats up. I'm avoiding contacting her tomorrow because that will seem a little too direct.

edit: cookie dough pop tarts are good

Hmm, no smileys. Surely you're not serious?

Those several pounds are your stomach contents (not that much) and water - probably due to not holding any down, and dehydration from resulting fever and inability to rehydrate. Some of this water will be muscle-stored-water.

That resulting dehydration greatly affects aerobic performance, especially over longer efforts, and now that I think of it probably could lead to cramping too. Combine that with a lack of energy from not digesting planned food, and the general unwell feeling....

(Oh - and all of the above is replaced naturally in 24-48 hours thereafter).

ilc - I don't like my hot chocolate "spiced-up". Thanks for asking, though.

Hmm.... I never noticed.

I am still a Mod. I don't know why our titles are different. (And I'm wondering if it matters....)

That is interesting, I have never noticed that either.

I'm sure it doesn't matter in the grand scheme. Thinking on it, there's probably two sides to the argument, both sides being quite analagous to the "should more police cars be marked or unmarked/undercover" discussion

Because I don't eat any fast food anymore, besides, when I do forget and eat it, I become violently sick.

Ahh, I feel this is called "aversion therapy", and anything that keeps you away from fast food is probably a good thing!

Oh - jokes aside Volt, seriously sounds like you have an allergy to something in the food. At a random guess, food poisoning is probably a 1 in a 10000 occurrence at major outlets, and even then? Sounds to me like your body is reacting to something normal in the food.

Probably, but I don't really care, anything to make me unable to eat that stuff can't be bad.

Sooooooo, you aren't writing an essay, instead you're being social for two weeks? Sounds pretty easy actually....

Ohhhhhhhh, now I get it! Sorry, I was kinda slow on that I guess. That doesn't sound too bad. I get to write a 4 page essay on Leviathan by Hobbes, I hate that book by the way.
