Ahh, I remember my prom, the girl, the music and the after prom, the time of my life. Oh wait, there was no prom, no girl and so no after prom; I was home-schooled. I hope you enjoyed it, because the thought of having to go through prom, honestly, makes me a little ill. What you and your date should have done, was dress to match the Pro Staff Tour 90, then you would have looked really smart. That also would have solved your neck wear issues.

LOL thank you for the complement. Although she's just my friend. I'm happily single and not looking at the moment.

Egg nog. Which may have been a mistake because now I am sleepy, but it was a long day anyway. I'm off, cafe denizens, see you Tuesday...

Well as far as stories go we had our pre party at my partner's (her name is Avril) house. There was your typical finger food brought about on plates i.e. biscuits with ham and cheese on top, dim sims and spring rolls, doritos that came in a christmas tree shape and a few vodka mixed drinks. Unfortunately one of the sheilas drank two bottles of Smirnoff Black label (which is a vodka cruise drink) on an empty stomach and found herself feeling sick for the rest of the night. 10 of us arrived at the Musuem of Contemporary Art in white limousines and overall it was a good night. Mind you I thought they could have given us more food. Since my partner is a vegetarian, she skipped on the chicken which she thought was the entree; only to find out later that was the main meal (poor Avril). And the desert was just some chocolate fudge cake thingy majig. As for the sheila that drank 2 Smirnoffs on an empty stomach, LOL, she spent most of the night sleeping on the table and eventually one of the people who worked there asked her to wake up and move around (cause they don't want to be liable for what happens to her). Therefore most of the night many of our friends sat outside talking and cracking jokes with the intoxicated friend of ours. Avril and I did this for the first half of the night but with the other 7 of our friends taking care of, and entertaining our intoxicated friend, Avril and I spent the last 2 hours of our formal dancing. Mind you, the person who chose the music was very bad lol. Oh well, we adapted anyway. So to end the night, our whole group took a stroll down to Pancakes on the Rocks which is basically open 24/7. And as you probably guessed, this became an opportunity for everyone to stuff themselves full of food at 1 am in the morning

What kind of operation are you running here? A cafe bar and bistro without a toilet?
Oh wait, I get it. I have to order first, right? |

Usually I don't make resolutions, but this year I've decided to make a resolution to appear in one of the "best of" threads that pop up in the TW forums now and again.
What about you canadian chic? |

I suppose my goal is to stay out of those threads unless of course the category is Funniest, Smartest, Most Amazing Canuck. Hmm.. I want to read more, watch less tv, eat at least one cheesecake (whole damn thing) a month and take a little more "me time". LOL
