Wow, I live in jeans. And on that note I will bid a fond good night to my fellow Bistro dwellers.

. I am going to buy a tub (yes, I mean tub) of my new favourite find: Heluva Good french onion dip, a couple bags of rippled chips,.
Crashing the bistro. That is one of my all-time favourite binge items. There is nothing like french onion sour cream dip and rippled potato chips. I went to college in southwestern US and they used to sell this certain brand of rippled chips - unbelieveable! I may have to have that this weekend. It has been a long time.

Default I think I need a whisky...

Bartender, any good scotch available? I need a large one.

Today I bought a new washing machine since the old one died yesterday. I got myself a brand new Husqvarna Electrolux QW16778.

Hey Peter! Slides onto the bar stool next to her favorite Swede, except for Bjorn. Having a new washer is quite divine! When I got mine last summer I did 4 loads in a row...what a treat to have a new efficient one!

Looks up and sees that the ceiling fan is empty*****sigh*****
I see that my beloved has forgotten a special day. Was maybe hoping to be whisked away somewhere special or at least a romp in squirrel suits.
Oh well....walks behind the bar a brings back a nice proseco. Pours a little pomegranate juice into my "special" glass and tops it with bubbly.....
"another scotch for you Peter, or one of these?"

Hey Peter, welcome back!

Okay, now for my gripe of the day. I went to WalMart last week and picked up a few books. I am not a fan of Walmart but whatever. Today, I stopped into the Superstore to grab a few things and decided to browse the book aisle. Sure enough, the same books I had already purchased were marked as 40% off. So I asked a woman who works there who happened to be in the aisle if the books had just gone on sale. "Oh no", she responded, "They have been marked down for almost a month now." Grrrrr.

Today's purchases are relatively uneventful, but in my habit of sharing........ I bought a sheaf of graph paper, a package of markers, a package of pencil crayons (all for a personal/work related project), a candle, two copies of Devil Bones by Kathy Reichs, Post-Mortem by Patricia Cornwell, Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber and The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen by Syrie James. Now considering how much reading I do every day, by the time I get through the stacks I have I'll be well into my nineties.

Au contraire Mav. The junk food and soda are on my wish list for the Easter weekend. I haven't purchased them yet.
