i've got 5 tf 325's.

all with leather grips. no lead (heavy enough stock).

no string preference at the moment - i prefer poly but i'll use almost anything lying around. doing a test of Tecnifibre e -matrix and dunlop m-fil tour multi's at the moment.

also have a 335 16x20 but still trying to get the feel of it. will stick with my 325's for now.

Well indeed you are . I am using RedCode for now, and indeed it was my happiness with RedCode that made me have a look at Tecni's racquet range!

I really wish they would make the 315 in a more open string pattern...

Jeff... i just wanted to chime in and say..."I was waiting for this thread to happen"... i knew once you got the Tec deal, this thread would appear! Great Thread name by the way!

Good luck... trying to catch up to the Yonex Thread...haha! JK!

Hey, i use Tecnifibre strings and have demoed Tecnifibre sticks in the past... am i in the club??? Sorry, that was lame!

Keep up the reviews... i will keep peeking over here, for me... you have sparked a new interest in the Tecnifibre racquets.

I play witih an O3 Tour Mid but have 2 T-Fight 325 and in this holidays I'm deciding to wich company pass cause I can't resolve the handle problem on my O3. Also I fell in love with the new T-Fight 320 even if I'd preferred a31cm balance than the30cm one

No sense in having a club if we're not going to actually DO something.

How about everyone post their current setup, along with playing style and approximate NTRP rating?

Here's mine:

TF335 16x20, Klip Venom 17g at 61M/59C. No overgrip, no head tape, no lead tape, racquet weighs exactly 350g.

I play aggressive all-court, mostly S&V, both doubles and singles. Approx. 4.5 NTRP.

I've tried synthetic gut in the TF335 and I've concluded that the frame really needs a lively, crisp multi. I may switch to Tecnifibre X-1 Biphase or Klip Excellerator in the near future. But for now, it's Klip Venom 17g for me.

wow! i like a somewhat heavy racquet too but the 325 is the only racquet i have used over the last 5 years that i didn't need to add any lead too. the stock SW is just right for me.

Here's my setup again.

Racquet- Tecnifibre TFight 320
String - Gosen OG Sheep Micro 16g @ 57lbs
Vibration Dampener - None
Grip - X-tra Grip
Overgrip - White Yonex SuperGrap

I'm a 4.0 baseliner, although willing to rush the net when I feel the need to try to end the point early. In doubles, I love to play at net. I'm also a one hand backhander.

His stock SW is one of the highest you can find in a stock racquet. I don't know your level but I suggest to give it a try in raising the SW

slows down my headspeed too much.

mine weigh over 12 oz with leather grip, overgrip, and dampner. that's good for an old guy like me.

Looking to buy a new racquet and really want a Technifibre...just don't know what frame. Don't really want a HD string set up so that narrows it down to a few: TFight 335 or 320. the 315 is too light for me IMO. Any try the 335 and 320? Which is better for a 4.0-4.5 baseliner who hits with heavy topspin?

It depends on what you like. If you can handle the 335 weight, then go for it. If not, then go for the 320. Personally, I find that the extra mass of the 335 really helps the stability of the racquet on defensive shots.

You say the 315 is too light, yet you're considering the 320, which is only 5 grams heavier. That's like the weight of one thin overgrip plus a rubber band dampener. It seems to me that if you consider the 315 "too light", then you would feel better with the 335.

true, also didn't notice that the 315 has a 18x20 set up as well.
