I want to see too. Plus, I want to know what kind are the 4 tournaments he won. Initially I was impressed, thinking that at 13 he won 4 futures/satellite events (against ATP pros), but then I couldn't find them on the futures/satellites schedule.

Young star just the Tomic
By Leo Schlink December 25, 2006 AUSTRALIA'S tennis woes were lightened considerably yesterday when Queensland prodigy Bernard Tomic added even more lustre to a brilliant junior career with a second Orange Bowl victory. The Gold Coast baseliner claimed the under-14 boy's crown with a dogged 4-6 6-3 7-5 win over Venezuelan David Souto at Key Biscayne in Florida. Already a runaway world No.1 in his age group, Tomic is Australia's best male prospect since the emergence of Lleyton Hewitt eight years ago. Born in Germany, Tomic won the under-12 Orange Bowl title in 2004. The Orange Bowl, which has been won by a raft of subsequent grand slam champions over the years, is regarded as the toughest junior tournament in the world. Signed for a reputed $100,000 by International Management Group mid-year, Tomic last season strung together four successive victories in 18-and-under competition. A star project for Tennis Australia, Tomic has spent time recently training in Florida where his backcourt game has won rave reviews from experienced coaches. The right hander was introduced to tennis by his father John, who bought his son a racquet for 50 cents at a garage sale. Tomic, 14, is now sponsored by several leading companies. Roger Federer, Andre Agassi, Chris Evert, Jimmy Connors, Monica Seles and Gabriela Sabatini are all Orange Bowl graduates. Tomic is one of the few foreigners in the 44-year history of the tennis championships to win the event twice. Noted for his on-court intelligence, Tomic last year outlined the dynamics of his perfect player: the serve of Goran Ivanisevic, the mind of Pete Sampras, the heart of Hewitt and the groundstrokes of Federer. Tomic, who has already represented Australia in junior Davis Cup and wants to become the youngest player to play for his nation at senior level, returns home this week. He will have a short rest before preparing for the Australian junior summer circuit. Tomic will target the Optus Nottinghill International and the Australian Open Junior Championships. YOU SEE THAT. HE"s GOING TO PLAY a TOURNAMENT AT MY CLUB |

I dislike the nothinghill courts. The surface is so bad for your knees and ankles. Every season someone badly rolls there ankles on the surface. Everyone complains about playing night tennis up on that cold windy hill. Shocker courts, nice club house.

Yeah, he sounds really impressive. TENNIS had an article and a picture of him posing in front of a mass of trophies.
I'm wondering if he'll pull a Donald Young though...? |

The courts aren't that bad I like them. I'm not really aware that people roll their ankle or its is bad on the knees.

Amazing, and not entirely impossible, IMO.
You play at Nottinghill? Did you play/see the 16s Frankston there? I live in Frankston. Hee. <_< *Random.* |
