Default Henin's divorce

so i guess its official, what r your thoughts about what happened? poor justin.... she never seems to run out of personal problems... hopefully this will drive her harder to win and maybe find more success in her career, even if not in love. sheesh.

It was a matter of time. It was obvious that the weasel Pierre-Yves Hardenne was a golddigger.

I don't know the full story, but hadn't they been together since well before she was a big success? Quite a few years / teenage sweethearts / that sort of thing?

Me too, but this from Wiki:

Quote:
Pierre-Yves Hardenne is the husband of professional tennis player Justine Henin-Hardenne. The two were married [1] on on November 16, 2002.
In addition to being the childhood sweetheart of Justine Henin-Hardenne, Pierre-Yves Hardenne is also a tennis coach.

Never liked her and couldn't stand him. Weasel and Mrs. Cheap. Never even gives her hitting partners a tip, a racquet, a used twinkie.

Gold-digger does spring to mind. Hope she recovers & gets back on the playing surface soon because Henin is/was one of the more enjoyable players to watch.

She'll survive. She just didn't want to come to AU and have to answer the questions so soon. It will be easy to come back at a smaller event. And yes, the women's game really missed her.

It's going to be awkward just callng her Henin.
It's like Hilary Rodham Clinton w/out the Rodham.
Poor girl, she seems very guarded about her personal life. I don't recall
any other player dropping out b/c of a divorce/breakup.
She clearly made a mistake trusting Pierre (99% sure this is
going to be his fault).

Eeeyup. The lesson here, ladies, is never change your name when you get married. It gets mighty awkward when you need to kick him to the curb.

doesn't always happen !
After all it's part of her history, but if she gets married again she may not take her new husband's name indeed, otherwise the trophy room will be a mess...

It was about time!Bravo for getting rid of him-too bad now you have to give him a big part of your earnings, though.

I hope she comes back stronger. And I don't even like her.

What she needs to do now is concentrate all the anger towards beating the crap out of all her competitors. Go Justine!
