You have the ideal prediction IMO. So, who wins??? I have quit predicting even in R1...so many of the players can be so good some of the time...Of course this could have something to do with being a Safin fan. LOL

I think a healthy Safin would roll over Henman like a big black Russian bear attacking a British bulldog.

I'm with Poundcat. Hard to make predictions even past R1. I'd love to see Guga make a good run. The local press says it's a tough draw for him. Guess they didn't look at Phillippoussis draw to see what tough means.
Anyway, I'd put my money on Hewitt or Federer. |

Regardless who wins, I predict no commercials as great as the Pacific Life one from last year. Wasn't it pacific Life with Tommy Haas and Phillapousas diving onto the court and going underwater? First 100 or so times I was it it was great. Then got a little tired of it.
Winner? Federer. |

Only a handful of players can beat an inform Roddick so don't discount him yet. His big serve and FH can hit through most players. Plus he hates losing, his verbals with umpires testify to that.
@Wright, Henman ain't no british bulldog. If Courier or Hewitt were english then they would be deserving of the label.

Hewitt is my prediction. Lleyton is playing his best right now. He has won this tournament 2 years straight. Ain't no reason why he can't win for a 3rd staright time. His confidence is very high right now. He knows he can win here and he will. Go Lleytonnnnnnnnnn

No reason Hewitt cant win? Heres 3:
1. Fed 2. Safin 3. AA Rod******** can probaly also take him out now too.

Moya vs. Ferrero quarters is the matchup I want most. Moya would win it too.
Safin vs. Moya semi, hope Moya wins that too, and then he goes to finals, beets anyone he meets (if it's Hewitt, hope he murders him). Henman won't go anywhere, fed will go really deep, could win it too. Roddick? Count him out right now, same with Agassi. |

Guys, Henman is a defending finalist and one thing he's been able to do relatively well throughout his career is maintain his ranking by defending his points at the right time.
Henman has given Safin problems in the past. I like Roddick and Fed's chances. |

Henman was a finalist in 2002. Guga is the current defending finalist, so only thing Henman can do is gain points actually. Safin will murder anyone he meets until Moya.
