Default Future Tennis Goals

Being a tennis player, what are you aiming for in a future with tennis?

My goals are to play D1 tennis after high school, and to maybe be a coach in the summer as a side job.

I just want to play on my college's club team. I'm really more focused on other areas and tennis would be secondary in college. Though playing on the varsity college team is impressive, it wouldn't be worth it to me just to say I could because I'd have to sacrifice my other loves.

Some Division Three teams can beat D1's. It really depends on the school.

Win the grand slam twice in a row without dropping one game and only 4 points each match while playing with my wrong hand and only using a slice backhand and serving underarmed.

On a more serious note....

I want to keep improving, hopefully get fitter and play a tournament in the city and not get flogged. More so, keep enjoying the game, keep wanting to play, keep coaching, get qualified while i am at university and coach for some cash and keep stringing. (last 2 while i am at uni studying to become and engineer.)

I set high standards but keep them.

Cool post-- I love the thought of having goals, it allows for success and better, more fun times on court! I set 3 small goals each year, and have one ultimate goal.. My goal right now is to play d1 ncaa, which is weeks away from happening, and I could not be happier if I tried. Someday, I would love to coach at a high level, be it juniors, or journeymen--anything at all would be amazing, as long as id be around tennis.

Just get really good, you know those seriously good club players that smack the ball but still enjoy it fine.

My goals include owning a Bosworth racquet at some point, making a custom racquet at some point, and winning States' next year. I have no reason to doubt the first two are doable, and no reason to believe that the third is even imaginable.

One of my friends, (derek than look him up), has a full ride to Emory to play tennis. Emory is amazing in tennis, and even though they are DIII I gaurantee they could beat a lot of D1 teams out there.

Hopefully I can finish out this coming high school season fairly well at #1 singles, and then play club and maybe walk on at DePaul, they are D1 Big East though so that could be a little far fetched

Have a lot of fun. If I can get some money for it to play in college, awesome. If not, I'm still having fun.
