"Americas" is not a continent. It's two continents: North America and South America. (BTW, your original post said "America" and not "Americas" anyway.

And, yes, "America" is only the USA. That's why it's called the "United States of America". Can you name another country that has the word "America" in it?

Probably being a featured player in this tournament will buy a couple of pairs of jeans.

And as someone said, easy access from Chile.

Also there is a great match tonight, on first day. Sam Querry Vs Paul Goldstein. Sam Querry is thought upon by USTA as the next great player that USA will produce. He could be next goran Ivanisevic with better groundstrokes. You will see his talents clearly tonight.

I'm volunteering at the night sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week. They give you a pair of tix for each shift you work, and I got tix for Friday (day and night) and Saturday (day).

During the volunteer meeting, the director of the tournament (I think) said that they put together a package deal with the SAP Open and a tourney in Vegas in order to get Safin to show.

I checked it out (on the home page of sap) and they wanted my credit card # before they said how much it is. Then I e-mailed them to ask about how much it is but ...no reply. Someone I know subscribed to it... seems she had to get it for the whole week and it cost $9,00 a day! i think that's what she said...she was a bit confused by what she had just done. Best to stay away from it until you see more reports from subscribers (if they get any ) ..re" quaity of stream..blurry? jerky? buffering probs.

Thr nest live stream was Kremlin Cup and it was absolutely free and perfect.

Kevin
(see the link to the article ((ab0ve)) ) that explains how Safin happened. What the tournament director likes about Marat is "He's not only a great player and entertainer, but he's nuts, just like me" LOL

It does say he won two Grand Slams. You just have to read more carefully.

"More than six years removed from his eyebrow-raising victory over Sampras in the 2000 U.S. Open final,........

Why so much effort for a player who has won only one Grand Slam tournament since his breakthrough against Sampras and is ranked 24th in the world?"

So he won one more GS after his first GS at the 2000 US Open against Sampras. That makes two total.

Canada is in North America. As are the USA and Mexico. But if you just say "America" it is assumed you mean the United States of America. If you don't mean USA, you must specify North America or South America because they are separate continents.

Actually, you mean they give you ONE ticket for each shift that you work, not a pair.

They are separate regions of the same continent perhaps, but are they really two seperate continents?
