It does seem odd, though. They went to such great lengths to replicate Agassi's racket (faux-TournaGrip, rubber band, original paint job). I can see not going to the trouble to make a deal with a Twaron supplier, since they don't do that even for the PT57's that are the modern versions of the old Pro Tours – but why change the string holes?

Do you mean in regards to the mold being different (Ti vs. 690 tour)? I don't understand that part, but with all the positive feedback about the LE I guess it's not the end of the world. It would have just made it that much more awesome. I have 3 TT Radical Tour OS's, so I will have to see how they stack up to each other.

From posters who are much more knowledgeable than myself, I've read that Head used the Ti Radical mold for this frame. Maybe the original mold was no longer available, and/or it was just more convenient to use what they currently had on hand? I don't know.

Agassi's own frames, though, weren't the same as the original Trisys frames that were available on the shelves. He used a custom 20x21 pattern.

Well, I meant the string pattern – seems like an arbitrary change for a tribute reproduction. But the same question would apply to using a different mold. Kap's speculations about that sound reasonable to me.

I know Head was only going to make 5000 and ended up making many more, but did they make the original 5000, stop production, and then make the rest shortly after? Or did they make them all at one time. I ask because I just got #5014 (just missed the sub-5000s!) and would like to know if there is even the slightest chance of a difference between it and any Radical #5000 or below.

Oh, and why isn't Agassi's 1992 Wimbledon victory printed on the throat, too?

I believe it's because Agassi won the '92 Wimbledon title with a Donnay racquet, not a Head racquet.
