Default What's the matter with M-fill 300 ?!

Hi folks,

I see that many of you have chosen to buy one, or several m-fill 300. On this forum, it seems to be a great racquet, even one of the greatest.
Currently, I'm playing with a t-fight 295, low-powered racquet that I like (have you ever play with this stick?) but the sweepswot is rather small and you have to be well-situated to have a great hit. I wonder if a m-fill 300 is more "tolerating" and easy to play ?

Never tried TF racquets, but I can compare Prince, Wilson and Dunlop.
Mainly ProStaff vs MF300, and yes I have to say MF300 seems easier to play than the Wilson...more forgiving...this is more or less a general feeling.
However, have a look at the Dunlp M-FIL 300 Thread...you will find plenty of info....more than 2000 posts around the MFIL 300...reviews, customisation, etc

At the current price, you cannot beat the mfil300. It doesn't have any apparent weaknesses and addresses the needs of a large group of players due to it's ample margin for modding...In addition, I've found the Dunlop 300 series frames to have a more traditional feel than other newer offerings, and they seem to maintain string life/playability longer than other comparable frames....

Bottom line: you'll know for sure as soon as you demo one.

Interesting question ... yes, the MF3 is a tolerant racquet. But at the end of the day, no racquet is useful unless the user has the correct technique, timing and footwork.

It is easy to generate topspin with the MF3 as it is a very maneuverable racquet. It works well all around the court and as louis netman pointed out, is a great candidate for modding with lead tape.

Best thing is, for the current price, it is quite hard to find another racquet that does what it does with minimal fuss and frills to distract.
