A friend of my told me that amily muresmo is homosexual. Is this true? he said that he saw amily's girl friend and lots of lesbians were trying to get her number. At the time when she was practicing at the Open. If she is lesbian, is there any guy in the top 100s or close that is gay?

Yes Mauresmo is a lesbian & frankly WHO CARES! She's a tennis player. It doesn't matter one bit what her sexuality is.

I'm not sure I understand the question (probably because of censoring). Are you asking if there are any male players who are g-a-y?

I think this question has come up before, and the response I've seen is that no one is out of the closet, but chances (statistically) are that someone in the top 200 or so might be g-a-y or has had homosexual experiences, etc.

Seems like tennis might be a good sport to have an "out" player--less likelihood of team suspicion/teasing of g-a-y athletes in an individual sport. Or maybe not.

I can't see why a player would say he was g-a-y any more than a player would make an announcement that he was straight. (Except of course Marat who did once "I am not g-a-y" LOL. ) Lesbian outings are likely more prevelant because the media (mostly men) find this issue fascinating and somewhat threatening (How could she NOT like men) & it's easier for a lesbian player to make a statement and stop the gossip.

I think there is actually qute a high percentage of woman players who are lesbians

it is a shock to me i mean the woman is so sexy and defines the word meaning female. I couldnt believe she can be g a y and this place not talking about it. I have a feeling that fed is gay he is living the download life
