I'm sorry to report that we've not made much progress on getting the Bosworth Collection web ready. The hope was to have some racquets available by the end of this week, but it is looking more like the end of the month now.
Sorry for the delay, and we'll do all we can to speed up the process. Chris, TW. |

Hey Chris, can you at least toss us a bone here and name a few models that will be availiable? (I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.)

Is the Bosworth collection old racquets that Bosworth bought, but have been sitting in storage? Or, did Bosworth buy the molds for the racquets and manufacture them?

I believe the frames were made when they were current but put into storage after the respective players switched to different frames. From the "Bosworth Collection," I had a Pro Cynetic 1 (Arias) that had a round white sticker with specs, except it was just mass and balance. I guess, there was no swingweight yet at that time?

Is there any chance that we'll know more today, seeing that it's the end of the month?

Sorry guys, but this is taking longer than any of us anticipated. Please bear with us. We hope to have a selection posted no later than April 15. Don/Tennis Warehouse

This Bosworth topic got me thinking about one of my old racquets that I would love to track down. Maybe somebody can help me identify it: it was a Yamaha, late eighties / early nineties, neon green (also came in neon red/orange), extremely light & flexible. I think it was called Ceramix EX (?) but I can't remember. The grommets broke and I couldn't get replacements because it was a discontinued racquet. I bought the racquet from Value City in '90 or '91. For all I know the racquet might have been considered junk at the time (hence being in VC), but I loved it. Granted I was only 17 at the time and only playing for a few years. I might pick one up now and think it's crap. In any case I'd love to track one down or at least figure out the model name. Anybody have a clue?

Okay so its taking longer fine, but why publish in Tennis Mag. there is a collection to be viewed or purchased. That advertisement should not be there. In my line of work you would be let go for a gaff like that.

TW must be happy for not needing to answer to the man, and in the latest vlog, there's a glimpse of some Snauwaert frames. I, for one, am happy to see for a change someone making sure to get things right before placing product for sale. Would you prefer to receive a frame with a hastily-wrapped grip, ill-fitted grommets, or not close to your preferred specs because there were still some forgotten frames in a box in back? These frames are decades old, so is another month going to kill you?
