i hav long hair as well, i can quite tie it in a ponytail yet (it makes a pretty small tail lol) i wear a bandana like moya. i find it the best. when the sun is strong ill wear a cap and if that messes up my serve too much, ill switch it backwards.

now, I REALLY have long hair for a male tennis player. I tie it in a bun inthe back and wear a hat. The 'bun' goes through the hole in the back. Hmm....maybe I should post a pic. If I just tie it back it whips me in the face when i play

I have long hair, I wear a cap backwards and kind of push it back, somewhat like Hewitt.

Just curious, how long did it take you to grow out your hair?

long time brian, my hair grows really freaking fast and it didnt do much. ive been growing mine since november last year, im pretty much at federer level , like i said tho, cant do a full ponytail yet. id compare it to something close to fish's. from the other people ive talked to, usually a year and a half ish. believe me though, its annoying as hell while its growing. when u cant keep it behind your ears and it flops in your face is the worst part :>

technically it's not really long but since i used to shave my head, my afro is getting to be long. i wish i can put it back in a tail of sorts, but for now i have to use the backwards cap and readjust it after every point...boo!

Yes, I tried and got as far as my chin before hacking it off, but that was 5 years ago when it was becoming a sin to have anything but a Ricky Martin haircut. I gave in to La vida loca. Now I have nothing to show for it.

Wow so is your afro like Ben Wallace of the Detroit Pistons?

I have really long hair, its straight but its curls up on the sides and in the back. I haven't cut it since may, and that was only a light trim. I wear a headband sometimes, but for the most part a hat. (and i wear it in my eyes, so i can't see much, but not when i'm playing tennis). i love long hair!

Yikes! My tennis-playing daughter spends less time worrying about her hair.

I also have long hair. I use a tiara to hold it back. Kind of the like the one Clement uses but it's not shiny. It's a dull piece of plastic. Very uninstrusive.
