Remember the 1st tennis player to ever defect from China - Hu Na. What ever happened to her? I remembered she lost to Chris Evert-Lloyd in the 80's.

She manages a Panda Express in downtown Cleveland. Kidding, I have no idea what happened to her and I had completely forgotten about her until I saw your post. She did get political asylum here, so hopefully she made a new life for herself and is living in the USA still. Back in those days, if you were from China and you requested political asylum it was a rubber stamp, you got in no matter what. It's an interesting commentary on how politics has and continues to influence our immigration laws.

I did a google search. It is this Hu Na?
http://www.huna.com.tw/ Apparently, she has her tennis club in Taiwan, and is the tennis commentator for "STAR TV."
