How do you qualify for the U.S. Open or a U.S. Open Series tournament?

To qualify for the main draw of a tournament you need to win all your matches in the qualifying draw. In order to qualify for playing in the qualifying draw, you need to win enough ATP points to be ranked inside top few hundred (depending on the level of the tournament) in the world. You can earn the necessary ATP points by winning main draw matches in lower-tier (ITF) events. In order to compete in main draw of an ITF event, you need to win all your qualifying matches in the qualifying draw for that event. In order to qualify for the qualifying draw of an ITF event, you need to get an IPIN. Or something like that...
