More thoughts...as this has been bugging me all morning.

Please don't think I'm trying to rain on your parade, but it sounds to me as if Zap's 'contact' is giving you these courts free without the knowledge of the director. If I'm wrong, please do correct me. However, if I'm right, then you guys are essentially stealing court time. I've been with the S&H clubs for years now, and I've seen people fired over less. Kinde is one of the nicest guys around, and I bet if you went to him and talked to him that he would work something out for the group. However, if some of the members catch wind of what is going on (and trust me, the members there have the S&H corporate office on speed dial) then your 'contact' and Kinde are both going to get into trouble for it. Again, I've seen people there fired for less, and it would more likely be your contact than Kinde who goes down for this if it is not on the up and up.

I realize you may think it is 'cool' that you've got this hook-up, but if you were a paying member of the club, how would you feel about having to pay court fees while a bunch of other people, non-members at that, come in and use them for free?

True Story: During my third men's double match. I mentioned that i found my friend (using the word friend) on TW to find a place here. THe guy, who i never met said instantly: Oh Drakulie?

It's a small world peeps. I'm pretty sure someone from Annandale S&H can read this. Just be smart about your words and what is going on.

Well, the thing is...to reserve a court at a private club, you need to be a member. I don't believe any of us are members at Annandale. But again, I bet if Zap were to contact Kinde, he may be willing to work something out.

I'm a 'no' for Saturday afternoon regardless, though.

I'm a no for Saturday.

I forgot I signed up for a tournament with an old hitting partner (though I'm totally exhausted). However, its non-Usta, so I'm going to break out the old racquets and see how it goes.

Have fun guys, and remember there is suppose to be some nasty weather this Saturday. Shintan I dont think you want to stay in casa Zap. I heard your feet stick to the carpet *shivers*.

Yeah...the weather forecast looks terrible on Saturday. I probably won't take my chance and drive for over 70 miles with wet and icy conditions.

you are absolutely right topaz. i do not know the tennis director there. my contact is someone else. regardless you make a very good point. i will give them a call and see if we can work something out. but before i do, how many of you are really coming? shoot me an email to confirm or you can reply here. so i can tell him and work out the details. let me know

if its not more than like 3 people i think i may just skip it too. so if you want to come let me know. thanks.

Hey, Zapman...I can't guarantee I will be able to make it there man because of the nasty weather.

So, you don't need to count me in as of now. If I end up showing up, I will just chill with you guys and have fun. Apologize for the uncertainty....you never know with the mothernature..If it was like 5-10 miles drive, I would definitely go...though.
