Alice - Sign up for a tourney. It's a learning experience - better yet, sign up with a friend. The thing with a tourney is that you never know what's going to happen. Better yet, find a tourney with a weak field, show up and make the final every year.

Alice and lady topaz said it right before... they all can't be great matches and yesterday's final had the potential to be an all out slugfest rather than Soderling's private lesson with a tennis legend.

Bottom line... Fed finnally got what he deserves albeit at the mis-fortune of guy who ran out of gas getting to the final.

I liked the fact the FO final was over in 2 hours... left me with plenty of time in the day to do other stuff... like make a huge pitcher of Mango-Peach Sangria and drink it while lounging at the pool for 5 hours.

One bottle Viognier wine
1 cup Grand Marnier
1 cup simple syrup
1 Mango (cubed)
2 Peaches (sliced thin)
bunch of mint leaves
lots of ice

Add all the ingredients into a big-@ss pitcher, mix and drink! Then get drunk and assume you can hold your breath for 10 minutes under water! Then try to play tennis with some random dude while you only wear flip-flops and swim trunks.

Good price to yum ratio. Filled me up. Couldn't finish the whole thing.
