speaking of sushi breath. i had sushi last week and for the first time in my life i found something i couldn't eat. there are lots of foods i've tried that i don't like but i can still eat it. this one was a no go.

in korean it's called "mung gae" and in english it's called sea squirt. it's fricking nasty. it's kinda like a floating internal organ with two tubes that it squirts water out of. maybe for moving/floating around.

absolutely foul. it tasted like metal and iodine and mushy all at the same time. i had to spit it out. i'll pay anyone $20 to eat just one piece. any takers?

hey PPL, wut comes around goes around.
i got beat 6-1,6-2 and the worst part was it was at Kenmore (or maybe it was the fact that he looked like bill gates)
my racquets felt like trampolines and i couldn't hit any shots.
i knew it was going to be a bad result even in warm ups.
i couldn't keep a ball in the court and this lefty sodeling guy kept pummeling these flat skidding shots if i hit any topspin shots that all went right to his strikezone. i knew i could beat him if i could just slice and dice and keep it low, but that just ain't my game so i tried to do what i do... and it didn't work! sigh.. back to the ol' drawin board!
l8r that day i did figure out how to serve to the deuce court... which will hopefully allow my service games not to be so painful. ugggh.

i think i have to calibrate my Revo... 62 feels like 52.
oh well, i guess i am just in the summer doldrums.

hopefully the fearless TWMAC leader will return to posting. i hope my reporting of the drunk/buffet tennis didn't upset him too much.

My Arlington/Rosslyn peeps - trying to hit W/ Czech09 Wed, but I know the Quincy park courts are stuffed all the time.

Any suggestions on where to go that's close???

JRK/Dats - your courts gots lights? Maybe we could get a few challenge matches in.
