Lazy morning, weather is way tooo nice to be working...

New Thread - Best courts in MD/DC/VA corridor?

Criteria:
FREE
Decent people to hit with if you get stranded
Nice courts and nets etc...(obviously)
Maybe noise level or wind guards (cts near pools can often be loud, not too many wind guards @ free cts)

Just a thought - I'm in HoCo but tend to play ALL over - always looking for a new spot...

oopsie. here's the link for montgomery college: http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/maps/gvic.html if we met in urbana though, my posse of suburban tennis mommies would join us. and maybe a couple of college kids too.

i'm fine with either day. ppl/jjjjj/llllll?? nitefly, if we met on sunday, would you be able to play?

How can I resist the urge to show off in front of suburban tennis mommies? Urbana it is.

Herndon: Bready Park - Nice courts, Best lights in the area BY FAR, free during the summer - bubble over 3 courts in the winter.

have you determined your schedule for next weekend? i'm seriously thinking of withdrawing from the tournament because 1., i'm a total chickenshyt and 2., my ankle feels...not quite right. but it's mostly excuse #1. i played my friend amy last night, and i unleashed my new (almost maybe, no not even close) safina-like serve, and held my service games until i was up 5-3. but then...i lost sight of the end.

so i lost the next two games and then won the following two, to win the set 7-5. i know i should tough it out and play in the tournament for the much-needed experience. it just so goes against my assiduously cultivated slacker lifestyle.

just got 4 tix on a friday for 72 bucks (ticket master fees etc etc). looks like all sat/suns are sold out.. at least in a group of 4s. woot!!!

2. did the early tourna all day pass thing in the past. a bunch of funz

3. when are you going to play the wookie for the 3rd spot on the ladder thang?

overall i think the earlier dates are a better buy since it'll be less crowded and you'll get to see a ton more players
