Hollywood - I was getting a smoothie today before I went to the gym and I see this tall girl wearing a Washington Mystics t-shirt. She's on her phone texting away... and I'm thinking "who in the hell would wear a Mystics t-shirt?"

Turns out she plays for the team http://www.wnba.com/playerfile/maris....html?nav=page
I think Players and family are the only ones wearing WNBA gear. Her stats are respectable. She only plays about half the game and averages about 8pts. Kudos to her for making a living being a role player living off the coattails of the NBA. Hopefully she has a degree to fall back on because I dont see the WNBA lasting much longer. The NBA is reducing its salary cap and the owners are getting less of a cut. Pretty soon they will get tired of funneling money into the WNBA and will complain enough that the league will fold.

Hi TWMAC peeps.

Alice - your photo of that pork bun got me in the cooking mood. Finally defrosted and trimmed that whole beef tenderloin I had sitting in my freezer.

On the menu for tonight. Filet Mignon with Scallion and Gorgonzola Butter and grilled thyme potatoes. Veggies optional

7 demoes and one of them being a Gamma! I will do anything. Anything at all!

I played an awesome match today against one of my old teammates. Felt good because I was only feeling so/so about the Gamma's recently. Thought maybe I wasn't stringing them right, but whatever. Now back to normal. And to think I was about to bid on those Prince Woodies (110 sq in, and 35 flex ) or those Rossignol F200's (13.5 oz and 32 flex)!!

Czech09, where do you live? JRK mentioned you may live close to me (Courthouse) in which case I can give you a ride if you need it.

p.s. Did I make plans to play with anyone tomorrow afternoon? I am drawing a huge blank, but I thought I made plans with someone at 4 ish.

I'll take one order shipped to Albuquerque.

Topaz, still going great. I'm one click away from ordering 3 more and having a garage sale on my other racquets. Will hit singles drills on Tue. and have a final decision.

Happy hitting TWMAC.

JRK, what day are you thinking of this week? I'm always up for hitting with demoes, but the back still hurts.

Really???? Argh!!! You're killing me here. I was close, so close, to getting one (even after my kTours), but got talked down. I mean, they are *soclose* in specs right? Practically the same racquet...right? RIGHT???

How would you rate serving with the nTour compared to your Dunlops? Oh, and that reminds me, a friend of mine (3.5 singles player) just switched to Dunlop this year, and she loves her racquets, too...had a great season with them, as well!

Looks like they also sell bulgogi Hotdogs and are working on bulgogi tacos.

talk about unpossible... sappy, you were there at lunch when i gave him the miswoven racquet! and for the record, i'm in no way casting doubt on his expert & conscientious stringing prowess; it's not him--it's my evil voodoo racquet.
