Sappy,
Don't follow the same set up as Dat's did last year. There are not enough QBs in the league to go around. The starting roster set up, if I may suggest, should be: 1 QB 3 WR 2 RB 1 TE 1 KE 1 Def and on bench you should probably have Alice301 scoping the manflesh, asking.. "so you're the tigh end.. turn around".

But at least we can crank 100+ serves. Next meet someone needs to bring a wood racket so I can blast serves and brag about it.

Sup's sidenote:
Shcmad makes the grade- Shcmad came out to the 3.0 tennis clinic last night and was I impressed. He took some off his strokes and was hitting to the open court very well. He was actually consistent! I became very silent, like watching a squirrel eat right outside your window.. any sudden movement and "voosh" .. he's gone. Then I realized that Safin won yesterday. So maybe that win somehow connects to his play. Now is Safin can win more. Dave's demo- The guy "Dave" brought out some demos yesterday. One was that Prince EXO Ignite. That thing was heavier than the EXO Rebel! Who is Prince trying to market too! I'm sure the EXO Ignite Team is on the normal side.

^^^Didn't we do that at one of the Annandale meets? You, TFM and PP had some to bring, if I remember correctly. I remember hitting with one for a few moments myself.

I know some dude on the bay was selling reproductions in lots of ten for like 100 bucks.
I dont know about playing a whole match I just want to blast a few serves on tape to claim it as a record of some sorts thus showing people how big my johnson is. Now that the joking is done. I will start visiting play it aain sports and trying to find some woodies. or might just just try to deal with the kramer the bay guy and get like 4 of em or something.

PP broke his racquet, so we didn't have enough to play. Apparently he thought it was a toothpick. That big lug.

If you wear a white shirt and stand still.. heck.. run... I have a paintball gun that can make the same design effect. Then again.. my milky way shirt is right up that alley. I do like that nike shirt!

Sappy when you rush for 300yds and three touchdowns you should get 50pts.
From what I remeber last year it was starting 2 QBs a game that made it very unfair for the peeps with low picks. One injury derailed someones whole seaon when brady went out. there just isnt enough depth to over come it. should be 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1K 1 Flex (any pos other than QB) 1 def That should be the international madatory rules for FFB starting lineups. Standard scoring: six points for rushing/receiving TDs four points for passing TDs three for FGs one for PATs six for defense/special teams TD one for sacks/fumble recoveries/INTs two for safeties one for every 20 passing yards one for every 10 rushing/receiving yards A) Five-point bonuses for 175 yards rushing/receiving and 350 yards passing. If somebody has a big day, that should be rewarded. Plus, it gives the "guy who loves to complain about everything, even if his team exploded for 200 points" a chance to complain when one of his players falls a yard shy of the bonus. B) Shutouts count for 10 points, holding an opponent to seven or less counts for five and holding the other team to under 200 total yards counts as another five. Defenses don't matter enough in fantasy. In what other scenario is a tight end more important than all 11 guys on the opposing defense? I mean, except for Ben Coates in Madden '97? C) Interceptions, fumbles and missed kicks count as minus-one; any pick returned for a TD counts as minus-six against your QB. We don't penalize for incompetence often enough. If you were so desperate you had to start Drew Bledsoe, then you should constantly be terrified of his trademark hanging floater toward the sideline that gets picked off by a cornerback running the other way. In other words, it should be like real life. And yes I stole these ideas from Bill "The Sports Guy" Simmons. except he cares about it. He does have a point though. It would be like bowling and some people are using bigger balls and count strikes as 15. How do you compare your self to to thers. If the whole world used one set of rules you could brag eternal because your team was top point achiever in the world. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...simmons/060721

Thanks for the compliments, Nando...I mean Sup. Me being consistent yesterday had everything to do with Safin's win last night over Ginepri. "Dave" and Sean could actually rally consistently. I was surprised.
PPL, just to let you know...I'm free today and Thursday, so if you wanna hit with the Shcmad one more time before he heads back, let him know when you're available. But, if you're busy this week, don't worry too much about it.

Im back from vacation
I do have a wooden racquet and a T-2000 copy I can bring to the next meet. I also want in on the FF league if Im not in already. Ill check when I get home. I like the lineups that HW and Sup proposed. I got some new Reebok apparel with colors other than black and gray... not quite up to Xisbum's level of color yet though! Lastly, I did some thorough string comparisons between the Genesis Black Magic and the MSV Focus Hex in my Pure Strom LTDs while I was on vaca, and the Black Magic wins. I am hybriding it with Pro Supex Titan in the crosses and it feels really comforable and seems to hold tension well. Now. I just need to check on reels. |
