It's actually a Coria frame, and I was on the cusp of buying that 6 months ago, but the guy sold it to someone else. But those are back on the buying horizon now...

Still have it. I am waiting to hit with you again to see if its worth keeping. I added lead to the hoop again with the poly it might be money! Also have to wait for my ankle to heal before hitting... Sprained it in the finals on Sunday, and kept playing because we were up a set. But alas, I cried like Fed after a Nadal GS final

Our 4.5's won in like 50 min.

Our 3.5's lost just about as quickly (shock of the century- they barely won all season, and only won 2 out of 5 matches during the sectionals. To be honest our 3.5's were dead weight. One of them was actually cut from the team before even finishing the one match he was asked to play during the tournament)

And we (4.0) were up a set, and 2-3 in the second when I jumped up to return a shot. My partner also tried to cover the shot. I ended up landing on his shoe, and spraining my ankle. So couldn't really cover more than 2 shots per point, and only if I guessed right. They came back and won the second set, then took the 3rd tiebreaker 10-6. This was only the 2nd match that any of our 4.0 players had lost all season.

No Indian Wells for us...

BUMMER! Sorry Auzzie. Hope that ankle heals up quick.

------

FWIW - Team WookieMonkey...er...TennisStriker....er.... MonkeyStriker! (LOL) were victorious tonight - 6-0, 4-6, 12-10

We breezed through the first set but got a little too loose in the second. Tie Breaker was a barn burner, we had the one point advantage until we got to about 8-9, we broke, tied it up - they kept it close, but we got the lead on TM's serve. Match point TM, hit a good wide serve, return went DTL and I hit a simple cross-court volley winner.

-------

Paulman, so far I'm liking he gut/iso classic hybrid. I played the second set and tie break with it and so far so good. I'm hitting singles Thurs and plan to give it a real good test then.

Cool, hope it works out well for you... Are you getting any additional spin or bite on your shots with the hybrid, in particular the gut mains?
