yeah i am assuming poly low tensions is a good place to start. I got the lighter version though: the 98. So I guess we will see. don't really have much desire to test it out

Logistics-wise, are there more courts available besides the Center Court? Going by the numbers we are going to have a dozen or so folks and 1 court. A little overcrowded.

I love the practice courts besides center court. It is so nice there. Hope it's not a windy day, those courts feels like chicago.

tennismonkey-yea we got enough peeps already. if yesturday is indication i think we may have 2 extra courts or so outside. i think it just depends on how cold it is. we had many hitting outside but it was nice yesturday.

zap: what's the deal with showing up early? you said 2:30 and the sunsets at 5pm. that leaves about an hour hitting time for a baker's dozen at center court.

I dont know the procedures to get in if we beat Zap there. It would be nice to know we dont show up at noon just to get told we have to wait.

Id rather meet somewhere else and just get to the place at 230.

OK, so what exactly is accurate:

1. we can show up early, like you said 10am, noon, whatever at center court since no one will use it all day?

or

2. if we show up early, we can only use the side courts and pay additional court fees?

i just mentioned that they told me noone would be using the court that day, so technically 10am start is possible. however i am not arriving until later so if you guys do come early you are welcome to use one of the outdoor courts. does that make sense?
