so regardless of what time we arrive, it's $20 donation per person to the tennis center to play on center court.

if we want to branch out to outer courts, there is an additional cost.

who's up for showing up at 10am to play on center court?

So here's the gist:

2:30 start time with possibly 10-12 players. So 2-3 courts total if everyone plays simultaneously. Anyone using center court for any amount of time should each make a $20 donation or if you prefer, play dubs on on the side courts for roughly $3 per hour per person.

Have I summarized the cost/plans correctly zap???

tm, from zap's answer, I pretty sure he means if he's not there technically we can't use center court - just the side courts.

The pricing break down structure is very confusing. 2 hot dogs and 1 bottle of shampoo per hour of court time?

i am very confused. but i'll be there at noon with hot dogs, shampoo, cold cash, tennis balls. i'm pretty sure this is going to go down as the best TWMAC Meet of all time or the worst TWMAC Meet of all time. there's no in between.

i've heard $20 donation....$12 / hour...a variety of times...let's just get there at noon, and figuring out the rest later?

now to the important stuff...who's bringing what kind of food?

This is turning into a serious cluster bang.

No grill.

I said dont even worry about food. Wait till after and just go somewhere.

Im half tempted to just go play Senaca Creek Disc Golf course on my way there and meet you guys at 230.

Are there any public courts close by to meet before hand?

aight fine. no food. it's a big hassle anyway.

i'm half tempted to join you for frisbee golf and skipping the tennis meet. back in the day i used to be a pretty accomplished frisbee hurler. maybe even 5.0 level. but then girls, drugs and rock & roll changed all that.

hey zap what's the latest head count for sunday?

Theres rock and roll (portable radios) and plenty of drugs (mostly weed) on the disc golf course. Not many girls though.

Hotdogs and Shampoo is going to be a synonym for humping a doorknob at this point..... That's what it seems like the planning for this TW meetup is. I have been combing through the posts all the way back to the inception of the meet and haven't been able to make heads or tails of how this has gotten so far and gotten no where at all. :-/. So I had to chime in just so I (even though I am probably the only one confused...) understand...

As far as I am understanding right now.....

ON THE ISSUE OF!...Le Center Court:

1. It is run by 'The Foundation' and Zap needs to get confirmation.
2. Zap, has said that Foundation has said yes (i think?) and we could use the court, for 3+, 4+ hours...provided those hours are between 2:30-5:00pm?
3. Since* 'The Foundation has pulled a Sup2Dresq and said "Hey sure, use the court all you want; also, come visit me in south florida.". Zap, has (suggested? implied? proffered? adjective'd?) a $5-10..($20)..donation per person if we use Center Court?
4. Stats: Outdoors. No Lights...Time Frame akin to solar eclipse.

ON THE ISSUE OF!...Zap's Meet Architecture:

1. *Zap has said he won't be there til 2:30. And thus the scheduled meet will be 2:30-5:00?*
2. 2:30-5:00 Window to Fun? (familiarly the WTF?)
a) Could be...2:30-5:00 (or probable earlier darkness) is window simply for center/outdoor courts.
b) Could be...5:00pm could be the window limit that Zap could get us for Center/Outdoor/Indoor from foundation and tennis center peeps.

ON THE ISSUE OF!...Meeting Early Due to Severe Mild Unclearness:
1. Zap will not arrive until 2:30. Thus, all court use will be at regular rate $12/hour for Outdoor, no idea if available or cost of Indoor court time, so $?/hour.
2. Whispers of meeting at alternate location to hit on outdoor courts (not sure if people have decided/planned where) prior to Zap's arrival for the 2:30-5:00pm window. Then moving from this location to meet up for the 2:30 mark.

PUREPRESTIGE FAQ:

1.*The Hype?*aka Center Court (doesn't sound appealing to me?)
a) Zap has said we should do a $5-10 donation, also he mentioned $20 donation? $20 donation total? Otherwise, it is (for ~12 people) $60 @$5, $120 @$10, or $240 @$20 per person.
b) Zap has said it could be ~3-4 hours, but also has said only when he is there thus 2:30 until 5:00. Thus, 2.5 hours or less depending on darkness @ the above posted $.

2. COURT AVAILABILITY.
I don't know if I can decipher. Zap has said, we can come early and are 'welcome to use the courts' implying we could just use them. But also 'standard court fees will apply'. So we are welcome to use the courts just as we are welcome to eat whatever we want at McDonalds..we just gotta pay$.

a) CENTER COURT: For those donating=playing for a few minutes each switching out with others...eh? No lights. Also, isolated from rest of TWMAC who will need to use side/indoor courts.

b) SIDE COURTS: Outdoor as well, unclear as to whether $rates$ apply or not, also whether they apply 'both' before and after Zap arrives. Also will not be lit due to lighting some street and cost to someone unknown.

c) INDOOR COURTS: Unclear whether our meet will strictly be on outdoor courts or also indoor. Unknown if we will be able to have 1 (preferably several?) Indoor courts available for the meet after darkness falls and temperatures fall. Also, again whether $rates$ apply.

Le Conclusion:
Zap is a great guy! Stepping up to fill Sup's lil' shoes that he has forgone for his Florida flipflops (but Sup keeps telling me all these girls keep leaving flipflops at his house...I feel bad for the guy... Sup calls flipflops thongs though...I guess like some people say soda and some say pop?)

Hopefully this post is useful...or people can explain it to me because I have poor reading comprehension *embarrassing*. My head hurts from reading all those pages...or from Sappy's weather forecast update for the wrong date. :P

I call Thongs or FlipFlops Slippers.

And you pretty much nalied it with the summary.

Im playing disc golf. Senaca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg, MD at 10AM will mosy down to the place after that.

Still not bringing a grill, and will not eat Kai Rabert again. That is the most overhyped dish of all times.
