i am thinking about hitting their buffet today. It'll give a good indicator how good the food is. Just called, it's $10 for weekdays and $13 for weekends.
If they have have egg rolls I am set.

You just got back from the Phillipnes.
You had Lumpia for dinner.
You had sex with two philipino women, and a MAN.

Finally set up my MOCA bridge! So happy that I dont need to run RJ45 cable through my house. MOCA lets you run internet through your existing coax cable. This can coexists with your current internet and tv connection as well. So far, I know that FIOSs current router supports this. If anyone needs any help with this, let me know. Beats wifi because signal doesnt get choppy. And it runs netflix and ESPN360 through my xbox seamlessly.

Trip still on? We were planning a home-cooked Southern meal for you - country-fried steak covered with thick home-made gravy, buttermilk bisquets, fried potatoes, fried okra, corn-on-the-cob (steamed, not fried), and peach cobbler with home-made ice cream. Unfortunately, my wife broke her foot, and I draw the line at cooking. But there's plenty of store-bought food around here, believe me.

Schmad and PP begged off; too far and too much going on in their worlds. Understandable, but would have been nice to see them again. I'm getting pressured to enter the serving contest Saturday, and while I know I can't break the old Jimmy Carter speed limit, you just might win the thing. Want me to register you? We can hit before or after, depending on time. The contest runs 2 to 4 Saturday afternoon.

Assume you'll be driving in on I-40; there's a Waffle House at the Canada Road exit (Exit #20, well before you actually get to Memphis), and we are fairly close to that. Just call my cell when you get there and I'll drive out to lead you to the house.

Others are still welcome, if they want to make the trip. Sup might beat you in the serving contest, and Sappy would love it here, if Thumber would let him travel.

If me in the serving contest will help you have an enjoyable weekend then by all means enter me. If you do however I would prefer to hit before hand to get looses so I dont look like a total clown. Im already going to look like a clown considering Im 50 pounds over my ideal weight, and I plan on wearing my bowling shirt with a huge skull on it. It does however have a colar and would be acceptible at anywhere but Wimbelton and other yuppies establishments.

But yes I plan on coming still. Ill probbaly stop somewhwere for the night thursday and roll into memphis between12-2 friday. Unless I pound a bunch of redbulls and get there at like 6AM. Then ill sleep in my car in said waffle house parking lot

14.5 hours according to mapquest to drive from the capital of the TWMAC to the home of the 100 year old grease burger. i thought it would be closer. that's roughly the same driving distance as going to disney world. you're a trooper hollywood.

what's for lunch people?

Mapquest told me 19.5 from my house to Baton Rougue, I got there in 16.5.

I was thinking it would be closer to 12 hours to get to memphis. Its not a bad drive

^^^I could do it in 12.5 from our house in Vienna; if we drove it together, it took 13.5-14, difference being number and duration of stops.

When Ms. X went alone, she stopped around Knoxville in East Tennessee and made it a 2-day trip. I preferred being very, very tired once than being very tired twice.

Thats about what I was thinking. If it was going to be daytime I would take the long way and drive down through West Virginia to see some different country. but everything looks the same at night.

I might stop if I get tired. I need to check out shady hotels that have hookers that will give me venerial disieses even if I partake in the use of profilactics
