4 (3/4 inch) thick bone-in pork chops
2 tablespoons soy sauce 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon J.O or Old Bay 1/2 tablespoon white wine vegetable oil vegetable oil for frying More Old Bay 1.Make a couple cuts on the edges of the cop so they dont curl so much. 2.Plastic bag, add the soy sauce, garlic, sugar, white wine, and Old Bay. Rub it in let it sit in fridge for a while, flip the bag and rub every so often. Maybe let it frige 1-2 hours to soak up the juice. 3.Heat Skillet fill with Oil like 1/2 inch you want it pretty deep. You want the top to stick out al ilttle to get it crispy I pretty much stole that from a Taiwanese Chop recipe that asked for some Chinese 5 spice powder and cornstarch or Sweet potato powder. of course I use J.O or Old Bay. And more Old Bay instead of sprinkling with Corn starch and since ive never seen sweet potato powder i have no idea what that would be like.

if anyone looked at my fridge/cupboard they would assume 100% that I was south/southeast asian
i have chicken thighs, pork bellies, thai chiles, basil, lemongrass, ginger root, shallots, scallions, coriander blah blah blah in the fridge then coconut oil, ghee, white pepper, like 4 types of curry powder, cayenne, fish sauce, a few different sesame oils, shredded coconut, about 3 cases of coconut milk in my cupboard and i'm about as white as can be |

this is a 2 point dropweight but i can't imagine that makes that much of a difference i don't remember the knots AT ALL and i'm a little worried about flexing my racquets but i don't really every string above 55 lbs so hopefully that won't be an issue. |

I learned from the YULitle videos on YouTube. They have everything you need to know. Irvin and Drakulie have some pretty good vids too. |

it's really a pleasure going west at rush hour when your bus route goes north on 13th street, then west on K from 13th and 19th, and then north on 20th (or 21st) through dupont so bad it's so nice to get back up through georgetown into the "suburbs" |

Georgetown grad here too and I had the same experience with one of the guys on the tennis team. This was in the 90's though.

Ok, I know this is from a few days ago...but the results fell in the OMG category and are definitely post-worthy.
And...here's your sign: ![]() That other culture's food far surpass anything "American." The depth of flavor from a relatively simple preparation was phenomenal. And, of course, the folks at Cook's Illustrated hit a homerun. Kids ate it, sis cleaned her plate and darn near demanded the leftovers. Will be put in The Rotation here at home and made on a regular basis. Dinner tonight, though, a somewhat uninspiring tilapia...probably to be turned into fish tacos. On the tennis front, haven't hit a ball in over two weeks. It's killin' me.

Use the crappy Gamma strings. If you break 'em, no big deal. The Gamma synthetic gut (non Wear Guard) is actually my favorite solid core string. The only thing the Wearguard version does is wear out your wallet from restringing! |
