Dear Zapvor,

I understand appreciate the attempt at humor of the post quaoted above. However, that joke has been told thousands of times and like the previous 1579 times simply fell flat.

As a man who lives in a house owned by the former DC chief of police (Actually true) I think I speak for all employees of the great District of Columbia by saying the following. If you happen to be in DC and break the law our law enforcement agents (unlike other cities we have enough for the most part) will maek sure you are notified and punished accordingly. It is not the districts fault or our agents fault you or anyone else cannont abide by the laws out great lawmakers have voted and decided on.

Sincerly

H-Dub

P.S - It is not agaisnt the law to buy two bottle of pert plus and 5 packs of Hebrew nationals at one time. But it would put you a pedophile/sexual predator watch list if such a think existed

Chikfila isnt anti WNBA. The support lesbians getting it on at mid court even though they have less than stellar baskeball abilites.

They just dont think they should get married and stuff. Unless they marry a dude and donate money to the church then the couple can have orgies all the time and get drunk and stuff.

I dont go to there becuase its in the hardest spot to egt in and out of, and to me it aint really that good.

I say pha pho. It only keeps me full for less than 30 mins.

speaking of sushi. I put a block of spam in my sushi roll last week with some pickled di-con radish and cooked watercress. It was one of my ways to get greens into my kid's stomach.
crap, i forgot, I can't talk to you for the next 30 secs. I don't talk to Chick fila haters.

Eh, not so much. Hubs and I took a little vaca down to NOLA before we got married, eons ago...and took a little class at the Cooking School down there. "Big Kevin" was a hoot. And he spent lots of time talking about a real roux....and showed us, over the course of cooking the Jamba, what a good one looked like. He said, basically, you had to have balls. Let it get a little brown.

I still use his "recipe," but I've run out of his "seasoning." I've made my own from some internet thing.

The REAL key, I think, is having enough "stuff" -- I use chicken, sausage and shrimp. Plenty of rice and diced (canned) tomatoes. And let it simmer, man, time cures what ails ya. Most importantly, ya gotta have some cajun power sauce. It's the local equivalent of Crystal Hot Sauce (instead of Texas Pete)..or in our area, Old Bay,...or whatever the hell ya use up there in MD. MoJo?!?

Yikes. Hubs ate his portion (I had leftover Fideau, yum!) and I've already packed away what was leftover. I'll snap one next time it's out and on a plate.

Let's not get into why he wasn't eating what I had and I was cooking "fresh" for him. He is normally a huge fan of whatever I concoct, even digressing into what we affectionately call primal grunting, but he's not in the mood for anything "strange" or "different" ATM. Sigh. So many cool things to try, but alas, the standard repertoire will have to suffice.

How is Baby CB these days? How many weeks? Anywheres close to sleeping through the night?

Jambalaya is my new favorite way to dispose of leftovers! Used to be fried rice or stir fry. Tomato base, thyme, various other spicies and a touch of heavy cream. Not authentic Im sure, but yum!

it comes from NAM man, where it is hot and humid!

aren't you supposed to eat hot and spicy food when its hot?
makes you sweat and then you cool off or somethin?

i dunno, all i know is pho75 was PACKED and i tried to order #6
but they were out of "fat brisket".
i also tried to order cha gio but was almost run out of their like
the soup natttzi. "only noodle soups here pal!"

but seriously only soup and they are out of the thing i ordered.. weak.

the strawberry boba from next door was the bomb on a hot day though.
