Anyone else know the feeling where you feel hunger pangs but you also feel kinda backed up because you didn't take a big enough dump in the morning

banh mi long time.
i played some decent tennis last night. i developed this new shot called a "topspin forehand". apparantly it's all the rage with juniors and people who play professionally. i've been winning and losing for years without one but it's added a whole new dimension to my game. true story. |

Today's pics are much more work safe than yesterday's. Glad I didn't sign onto the jailbait debate as the boss sits right next to me.

I'm sorry, call me "challenged" but whenever I see the emphasized word...I think...lactation. NYC be darned.
And, CB....she shoots, she scores! Some really, really nice flank steak at Sam's for $3.99/lb. Serious. Have gone all South of the Border: fresh guac & salsa, fajitas, mexican rice...and Coronas. We'll see how well it goes over. Remember, I'm cooking for the 70+ crowd.

I did some flap meat a couple of weeks ago. after marinating with pineapple juice and soy, I put the meat on top of pile of very hot lump charcoal. done in less than 6 minutes. learned it from Alton Brown.

after spending several years playing dope smokin acoustic ditties i now only want to play metal. my favorite band is only 1 drummer with 3 drums and 1 guitarist with 3 strings. he uses a big muff, a wah, and a bass amp and a guitar amp. the amount of sound and distortion he gets is krazy... so i want a BIG russian MUFF (and normally i prefer brazilian no muff!) p.s. - mr. chemist: 90% of the time i wake up with that hungry/backed up feeling you mentioned. lots of water, green veggies, fruit, and beans is the cure. mix em all up and chug it like HWOODS dad does! ~~~~~~~ anyone been to BAMIAN... afghan place? i've been craving their chef carrayee (karahi curry?). i tried to make some tonight but it tasted more like indian rogan josh. still tasted perty good though. i need GHEE and some other non Safeway ingredients though to make this shiznitz better. i also bought some frozen lamb kubideh kabobs from gran mart and for frozen meat those chumpies did the trick with some cardomom rice and tomatoes! i should probably make my own though. i made some vegetable fried rice the other night. it was awesome. i didn't have oyster sauce so i substituted some pad thai sauce and it worked out great. rice, fried eggs, peas, red pepper, golden mountain sauce, pad thai sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and dinner was DONE! woot. love it when im scrounging for food and it turns out great! ~~~~~~~ C_Downs... i challenge you! i've been waiting a long time for this lapse in confidence. if you are injured too then its GAME ON! bring it! ~~~~~~~ JRK - is your instructor african-american? i was eating sushi when a black MMA instructor walked in and did his Bao Quan greeting and ate at the bar. Let's just say I was pretty certain he could have kicked everyone in the restaurants azz at the same time. tough lookin dude! I think he must have a gym nearby in Falls Church. Edit: actually it looks like it was RodBatiste some world champion master karate dood. dunno. looks like he just teaches a bunch of kids now. i could prolly take him after a few beerz. |

Yes, big black dude with big muscles. Wrestled all through high school and college and then started doing MMA (like a lot of college wrestlers do). He trains at two places, I do believe the other place is in Falls Church somewhere. Was he with his Japanese girlfriend?

downs_chris, you lost to tom a few nights ago? I play with him at wakefield park all the times. That guy actually started playing tennis only a few years ago lol. He is pretty impressed with your game though, he thinks you're a solid 4.5 playing in 4.0 league.
I lose to him all the times too, he's a fast little guy.

ooooo.... that looks good. Have a soft spot in my tummy for a boiled egg in noodles. Especially if it has a soft watery yolk.
watery yolk on noodles is good! Those sweet potato noodles are really good. I heard it has alot lower starch content and has more nutrients. I cook it all the time but only in soup. Trying to get a recipe for Korean Stir Fried Noodles. I know it uses these types of noodles. But don't know how to stir fry w/o sticking to pan. Part of the reason why I got this new non-stick pan. Any Korean Cuisine Cooks out there?
