yes, it was pretty cold that day. i went out and hit for a whole 5 minutes today. Started to rain cats and dogs.

The pic is just off of my lonely 2.0T Sonata. it has crazy pickup.

Yeah, I can't live without 12+ oz racquets now. Just love the feel.

Cb, if you love that feel, what are you doing with super light frames? Plenty of good hefty frames out there from the start! Classic frames even more so! Leading up a super light to really heavy just isn't as solid or nice...

Haha that reminds me of a time when I broke my ring finger playing football & was itching to play tennis. It was so funny & rewarding to beat a couple of guys left-handed. But they weren't amused; ****ed off, in fact! Haha

I am too picky in what I like in the feel of a racquet. so I may as well get a light racquet and customize myself.

so what I ended creating is a 12.6 oz/ 100 sq in/ 8 pt hl/ extended length/ comfy racquet.
closest thing I found is the pdgt roddick and xfast pro with lead.

maybe I should try classic frames as well.

I hear you about customizing frames because i love tinkering with frames as much as anyone but if you're adding more than an ounce to a frame, it's way too light to start with. You just don't get the solidity or stableness inherent in light frames as frames that start out heavier. An 11 ounce frame weighted up to 13 ounces MIGHT be as solid/stable as a stock 12 ouncer.

actually...true story about paulman...i was messing with weighting a frame and we were on the court...he picks up my frame and is like...how much does this weigh? "feels like, 342 or 343 grams" i was like, "meh, i don't know?" i take the frame home and measure it...it was 342 grams...enough said...

that's what the monkey said as well. u guys have to try the NYC. its really stable (even after 2oz of added weight) I think the stiffness has a lot to do with it as well. freakin stick does not wobble whatsoever (and I doubt I strike the ball as cleanly as u guys do)
