Oh! And it is 'paleo' cheesecake!

So a bit of an experiment. Backup desserts have already been procured in case it is a bust.

Recipe is here (but I'm subbing prunes for the dates):

@AQ no matter what you bring I am sure they will enjoy. ur an awesome cook

got tired of folks fighting over the bottom of the stuffing pan. for some reason everyone loves that crunchy bottom. morrow I will making the very first corn bread stuffing galette. I figure I am going to be frying bacon anyways, so why not use the oil for something else?

happy turkey day from piazza del duomo.. valuable lesson not written is any guide book is that one can find wine dispenseries with all sorts of vino for ~2 euro/litre.. one should not drink it as sub for water...

also i can't eat anymore... hope you all can't eat anymore soon.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
I am thankful this year I got my ankle and knees back so i got to play with everyone here. Also, I am thankful this year to get to meet so many on TWMAC and reassuring to find out I am not the only middle age dad with tennis, video gaming, and food OCD.

@sap Hows Italy? How many Maserati's do you spot there?

AQ, the 'cheesecake' came out great!!! Why can't your little one indulge? This recipe may work then...as long as she can do nuts and coconut.

Happy Turkey Day everyone! Gobble gobble!

Time for some tennis!!!

I had to google & wiki "paleo." Never heard of it. I so out of touch. Really, I mean it. I've got a flip phone w/no txt.

And after reading the recipe, I'd have to revise my earlier statement. Eldest child could eat it....and neither I nor my youngest could. Youngest is highly allergic to cashews (and a few other tree nuts) and I am rather intolerant of coconut (upchucking generally doesn't go over well at a guest's house).

Glad it worked out for you! I'm doing a family-favorite sweet potato pie. Easy and always gone.

there's a major city in Turkey named Batman. learn something new every day.

hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving weekend. i realized this thanksgiving that i'm kinda over turkey for thanksgiving. i'm ready to move onto some other animal to eat. maybe that's what should be done. the president every year on november 1 spins an animal roulette and that's the animal that gets eaten for thanksgiving. can you imagine the effect it would have on the economy?

now i'm hungry. i haven't had breakfast yet. brb.

grats to all the bumpees. i am awaiting my appeal to be bumped down to 3.5 -- because nobody wants to play with an overweight 4.01 at the 4.5 level.
