Same here. I've got the VCORE Tour 97 (330 & 310) in my sights come the new year, but I still love my X Force Pros.
Some guy is looking for a 4.5 to hit with in Warrenton of all places. Did you see that thread?

I played a guy who had about 6 different yonex sticks in his bag, each one was for a certain shot. Too bad he could never all the best shots into a single stick.

my buddy picked up one of those new yonex vcore xi 98 from tenniswarehouse europe. says it's a more comfortable version of his vcore 98's. also said they had a slightly higher swingweight which translated to more power but not as whippy feeling.

i played a guy who liked one stick for his service games and another for his return games. headlight k90 for his service games where he'd like to rush the net as often as possible. for his return games he'd switch to a POG and play counterpuncher/retriever.

auzzie - i'm still loving my donnays but i think they are connected to the old donnays in name only. still good sticks though.

what's for lunch people?

No, I'm going to demo them once the 310 is released in the US. But after the way I played yesterday, it would have to work some serious magic to get me to change from the Pacifics.

Do me a favor: swing by my house & pickup my winter jacket. Damn its cold down here...

Actually, it is real nice from 10-5, but it has been in the upper 30s, lower 40s in the morning, and once that sun goes down, it cools off quick.

aaargh i hate demo agony.
my blxpro's are currently too powerful (although they have ooooold poly in them) and 1/2 grip size too small. but the feel is very SOLID and i can put mega spin on the ball and hit a pretty sweet 115mph 2nd serve in the corner of the box. if i restrung and added another overgrip i think i could turn my viktorr into IGORRRR andreev style game. i would probably crush auzzie with the right setup on this stick. 1st serve 110 but middle of box.
the 89tour has amazing feel and i can hit a dime on the court when my 2.5 level dad hits me the ball. my form would probably break down if playing 3.0 auzzie though. backhands are nalbandianesque.. just so sweet.serving is also weird... the weight seems to bring out the ol twisted wrister.. but if i get it right.. it certainly produces a HEAVY ball but still it is 100mph 2nd serve. 1st serve 95mph but right on the T.
the igspeed feels so tinny but i can hit 120mph 2nd serve in the corner. i can stay in long rallies with it although i rarely seem to feel confident to smack a winner. backhands are spinny but seem to come through the hitting zone too quickly so i slow my swing down and just kind of bunt it. 1st serve 110 but jams sappy every time!
~~~~~~~~~~YONEX89 IGSPEED BLXPRO
BACKHANDS ------ 99 ------ 75 ----- 80
FOREHANDS ----- 75 ------ 83 ------ 80
SERVE --------- 75 ------- 85 ------ 83
-----1st ------ 85 ----- 80 ----- 82
-----2nd ------ 65 ------- 90 ----- 84
VOLLEYS ------ 90 ------ 85 ------ 80
SLICE ---------- 80 ------ 90 ------ 80
-----
subTOTAL ------ 82.33 ----- 83.83 ----- 81
+FEEL ------ --- 95 ------ 75 ------ 84
TOTAL: ----- --- 84.14 ------ 82.56 ------ 81.4
its pretty close even in my bizarre math test but i think the BLXPRO might hold up best in competition.
YY89tour = FEEL & BACKHAND & WRIST PAIN
IGSPEED = CONTROL & SPIN & TINNY
BLXPRO = POWER & SPIN & SOLID
i dunno. maybe time to take up racquetball. MERRY HOLIDAY EVENTS FOR U GUYZEZ.
maybe i put them all up on craigs for 70bucks each and play with what doesn't sell.
apparently your frames are sooo dialed in (like they usually are). may not be a reason to change
Exclusive first take on Genesis Hex Comfort. It is comfy but does not have the spin of Hexy Fiber. Still a darn good string.
Merry Christmas you filthy animals and keep the change (ala home alone movie).
I hope you got everything you wished for;
Tennismonkey: the holy tennis racquet grail
Zapvor: ultimate hotdog and shampoo supply
Sappy: ultimate buffet coupon
Dats: a demo that is equally good for his forehand and backhand
Topaz: tiebreak superiority
Cool blue: the ultimate BBQ recipe
Xisbum: to be mistaken for a young Tom select
Jrs: 5 uninterrupted minutes a day at home
Jrk: a guacamole free world
Aussie: the donnay holy grail plus a jmu tennis shirt.
Mclovin: to Fischer or not. Answer the question
Downs: more sand and less bagging.
Topaz again: merry, berry or what shot you want.
