I've determined it as much as possible!

I will be arriving Saturday morning, in time to watch our 'brother' team play at 12:30. We play our first match Saturday at 3:30pm. I may or may not be playing. I could tell you but then I'd have to 'take care of things'.

Then I'm there through Monday. Staying at the host hotel.

I probably won't be drinking much this weekend...I'm still recovering from my bday weekend/combo districts.

curses! mess hall has only split pea soup. For some reason, when I see split pea soup, I think of "not so pleasant," surprises when I open diapers.

Mom said she was reading and people saying they were at like 2000 and in pain. Mine was at 2000 when they let me out of the hospital. part of the reason I was on liquid diet for the past 5 days. Finally started eating regular food yesterday.

They have these hospitalits who are just doctors that see admitted paitients. Pretty much all the doc did was walk in ask how I was doing tell me stuff the contradicted the specilists adn billed me 100 bucks for 5 minutes. Insurance rate was like 63 bucks. But still. I should have gotten good at lacrosse and went to johns hopkins on scholarship.
We had a great hospitalist at the last place I did my rotation.

Lap is what I had. You end up with several 'punctures' in your abdomen, I have four...but my have really healed up and there is really only one that you can sort of see anymore.

Be careful taking opiod pain killers...if you can manage the pain with something like aleve instead, go for it. If you take opiods, DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER. *eyebrow* Because things are going to slooooooowwwww dooowwwwwnnnnnn.

I have had a cup of coffee so far today. Which is unusual. My normal is ginger tea.

Food will be later...

I musta just had some dud hospitalists then. The main problem was GI Surgeon would tell me one thing, then hospitalist would come in and tell me another. They just needed to talk to each other a little better.

Pretty much the entore time I needed the dilaudid they were giving me 200ml/hr on the IV. Im not taking the stuff anymore. But I know what you are saying becuase i had those issues after i had my tonsils/uvula/whatever else they cut out of my throat removed. but that was hydrocodone/acetiminophen mix i guess.

The numbers are rather ridiculous but I'm very sensitive to that whole gaining weight in the middle thing (ya know, apple vs. pear shapes). My mom, who passed away at age 61, had way too much tummy and all too quickly slipped over into Type II diabetes.

5 pounds = about 17,500 calories. so you somehow have to take in 17,500 less calories than your daily allowance and you're good to go. you could also just chase your kids around the park for an hour and i think they are equal. my math is fuzzy.
Hmmmm. I chase my kids already, almost all day long. Not sure how to add to that particular suggested exercise.

Have been tacking on a 10-15 walk/run before tennis. Although I consider myself fairly quick out of the gate, warming up those muscles beforehand definitely gets me going, gets those feet moving.

I'd love to add a fitness class but the times don't fit real well with the pre-school schedule. Don't mind lifting weights but I've struggled with the motivation for that for the past few years. Wish our club had a rowing machine. That's been one of my all-time fav "workouts."

Wasup peeps? I'm recovering from traveling with twins. Things really got fun when Out flight to Dulles from Charlotte got canceled. They put us in a hotel but dealing with three hungry cranky kids was no fun when you have to leave at 5am the next morning for a retuen flight.

Also, it it me, or is anyone else offended that head put the "Prestige" name on a light weight tweener? Shame on you Head! http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Head...AD-HGPPWR.html

Wow, impressive jrs! Still havent travelled with our baby yet....maybe march! Wont compare to your tribulations though! I want to go to a concert next month but struggling with finding a sitter. Basically i dont trust anybody witu my lottle baby! But i guess one day by necessity or my need to go drinking will outweigh my distrust of the human species!

Yeah, it's never easy to pick a sitter and you always second guess. Family is always best (Grand mother/father) but family isn't always there daily.

Twins did well on the flight, we got many comments about how well behaved our kids were. Felt bad for one parent who got told that they would be taken off the flight if their 2 year old didn't get under control - stuff of nightmares.

Also learned that even if an airplane has 3 seats in a row, you can't have 5 people (3 kids, two adults) in that row because they only have 4 masks for air. Made for an interesting flight.

Thou art indeed brave, Striker. We've yet to attempt a flight even though both kiddies have passports. Any travel we've done has been in the automobile but I'll be venturing with the two littlest ones, myself, to go see their grandmother (my MIL) by train over their Spring Break. We're all actually excited by the prospect; even better that GOD (the Grumpy Ole Dad) will be left at home! LOL

Funny, at first, he was like...yeah, if you wanna take 'em...you go right on ahead. Now that it's all actually planned, tix bought...and his mom & sis excited (esp that he isn't coming too)...he's, well, disappointed.

My wife art braver than I. She took our first daughter one on a flight to Botswana when the little one was 2 months old. That's 18+ hours.

I am also a sucker for punishment as we are doing it again later this year for another wedding.

I was a little concerned taking our 3.5 year old boy at the time on a trip to Germany. He did great on the trip over since he slept most of the flight. The trip back was a little more difficult to keep him entertained but there were no meltdowns.

Man, that's a haul. Bathroom breaks must have been a b!tch...

On a side note, did you (or anyone else) catch the 'once...once' reference? Being my age, you should know the movie, which is one of my favorites from the 80s.

Sigh, unfortunately I'm old enough to have gotten that reference.
