Again, knock 'em dead, killer.
Thanks! I'll do my best!

I'm too far south for you guys. I'm right off the mall and within walking distance of the white house. A trek to MD would be a very long lunch indeed!

i love those little hot dog vendors right around the mall. i probably don't wanna know how long they've been sitting in hot dog juice in the hot sun. i don't wanna know what's in em. but man are they tasty. i can pound me some dogs with sauerkraut/mustard/ketchup. JRstriker let me know when you wanna do a lunch like that and i'll come down.

don't know, trust me the police department doesn't even know. however everything around me is either zone 1 or 2. my street is zone 1 and 2. so you'll have to test the boundaries.

ben's chili bowl? been there. many times. i actually like it. don't love it though. once not so long ago i used to actually go out past 9pm and hit restaurants and drink copious amounts of liquor and chase skirts. my wife put a cabosh to all that.

adams morgan also has some good ethiopian food. and late at night GIANT slices of pizza and empanadas too.

Those large pizzas have saved many friends of mine from a long long jager shot night.

i never understood why people do shots of Jäger. it tastes like licorice. i don't like licorice in solid form. why would i like it in liquid form? and then it just sits in your gut like your stomach is saying, "um i don't even know what this is but it's not food and it has no nutritional value."

Sap - can you e-mail me an address near your place in Zone 2 so I can google it out?

TFM - don't know if I can stomach the dirty water dogs around the mall, but I want to try the food at the Native american museum -

With a fire-pit-equipped kitchen, the museum's Mitsitam Cafe serves Indian-inspired food, including quahog clam chowder, Peruvian mashed-potato cakes, smoked seafood, and bison chili. Fun fact: Mitsitam means "let's eat" in the Piscataway and Delware language.

Ben's Chilli bowl is pretty good at 2am though.

if no objections, buffet tomorrow. i'm little curious to see how much you can push yourself.

if you get past 4 full plates (sup can be the judge in favor of non partisanship. no fruits, veggies or crabs. food must be at least 5 inches stacked from the bottom of the plate with all edges covered to be considered a full plate. plates can be disqualified based on sup's judgment. drink as much as you wish. time limit of 1hr. yak = walk. ) then your tab it's on me.

lol. sappy - you are overestimating my ability to eat. i'm not a competitive eating champ. i just like to eat. when my stomach tells my brain to stop - i stop. once in a while my brain doesn't get that message to stop. free lunch does sound nice though. we'll see.

i'm not your fat court jester who eats for your amusement you know.

4 plates bar is pretty low considering your last run at the korean buffet. 3 plates is usually my standard so no need to talk down your eating abilities. for all we know you are prob banned from that place with your previous endeavors.

the catch is that sup decides if a plate qualifies or not.. and he prob won't tell you after the fact that it's been consumed.

this is why you don't get seafood bisque. you gotta come get it yourself.

Alright...but I need to make my reservation for about 3 weeks from now!

Though, we lost power for about the last two hours today. No water, no a/c. Thinking...if they don't get it back on, will we have to go in tomorrow? Hmmmm....

JRstriker -- use this link and type in the name of the player you are looking up. if they play usta leagues - they should be in there. your opponent is. also for future reference it's probably not cool to post his name in the forums. i doubt you'd want him posting in a similar forum your name.

http://tennislink.usta.com/leagues/

TheJRK -- that peking duck looks pretty damn good. is it the best you've had in the area or have you had better? for duck i typically go to mark's duck house but i'm always game to try new places.

shintan -- just because you aren't physically IN the mid atlantic doesn't mean you can't pop in and say hello. i don't think TW BANGKOK is taking off.

zappy -- what are some good places to eat in your neck of the woods. i thought you were east of DC yes/no?
