Sup, was PP 2 hot 2 handle for you? Just kidding. Somehow, you looked a little tired. Maybe because it was your 2nd hitting session of the day.
When we were having down the line rallies, I felt overwhelmed by the length of your shots. You might have to go back to the Babolat (but use 1-handed backhand, please).

Sappy, did people ever answer you to firm up Legg Mason plans? If not, I suggest using very large font!

JRStriker, Hollywood, and I just got in a good 5 hours of tennis between Towers Park and WHS. I was able to get about a half an hour with this consistent guy who was hitting against the wall prior to JRS and HW getting to the courts. Good way to test my ankle out. I can't move 100% yet because of soreness and slight instability, but if I can get to the ball...
Anyway, once we were about to start, this insane, institutionizable guy jumped on court and offered to be our fourth. He was one of those players that surprised me everytime he got the ball in, but he (also surprisingly) got the ball in a good amount. Anyway 3 sets total, with him on JRS's team for two and my team for one (I think JRS was getting tired of him So JRS and HW, the nice gentlemen that they are gave the court up. We headed to Wakefield HS and got in another 2 hours of 1v2 hitting. So after the night of tennis was finished, I am happy to report that my ankle held up nicely. I was suprised to see HW pull out some amazing frames: Yonex RD Ti 50, Fischer Titanium Kafelnikov frame, and one of those Wilson 5.5 Hammers that had like 10 mm beam widths- they looked like twig-frames. And JRS (poor guy) came straight from work to play- was starving by the end. We probably needed Topaz there to supply some Tuna sandwiches |

Yea it would have been pretty good to of had a 4th. I shanked on overhead or something and the other dude, says dont feel bad to hit it at me, and I was like dude I'm not even thinking about that.
Then he got in an argument with JRS because we wanted to switch the teams up. All in all fun was had by all. There was girl walking her dog wearing a tight blue striped dress. kinda looked *****y, but the girl had a decent body body. the following exchange happened. Hollywood to JRS "did you the girl wearing the blue dressw" JRS "nah I must have missed her" HW "turn around" JRS (not really looking) "yea" HW "nobody dresses like that to walk the dog" JRS"well somebody does" HW "Yea, good point"

Vitaly,
For some reason I dont like star wars and the video sappy posted of the ***gy alien saying its a trap wasnt even that funny. but something about that avater makes me laugh. Auzzie, If you want for next time I will put some fresh string in the TI50 and pull out the old RD power 10 long super mid (aka the war club) and throw some fresh string in it as well. just looked up the specs here mine is the 28 inch 12.3 ounce (349g) version. http://tenniseverything.com/yonexrdpow10.htm Also about a month ago a guy posted a 95 on the forums for 65 shipped Here

Good stuff Auzzie and HW.
Lots of fun. Weirdest line out of that dude was after HW hit an ace or something and dude says something like - "you've been hanging around Paris Hilton too much." I was like HUHHHH???????? Then he claimed someone gave him Red Skin tickets for free? Those are like gold, not gonna happen. Then he dragged out that hunk of tin Donnay at the end and to top it off, he offers our courts to the short dudes who were too slow to get to an open court and waited because they were scared to talk to the dudes with the Dora the Explorer rackets and gang tattoos. Didn't mind playing with the guy, but we were def the weaker team. Mixing it up was more fun. Third set went to a tie break. I did run out of energy at Wakefield - luckily I had that week old energy bar left in my bag. Hit Taco bell when I got home. I've got to eat a real meal before our tennis meets. Nearly fainted on the other side of the court.

sorry guys. if i had known auzzie was going to show up i would've come out. i didn't wanna be the boat anchor. i do enough of that when i eat at buffets with sappy and sup. they eat 2 plates and then wanna go but after 2 plates i'm just getting warmed up. arrggh.
sounds like an interesting hitting session last night. so what's the verdict: who has the most awesome-est 1-handed backhand between hollywood and JRstreaker? who's faster? the wookie or the JO monster? inquiring minds wanna know. what's for breakfast. i'm starving. also margaritas are evil. |

You do know that you aren't supposed to feed margaritas to babies, right?

i may have a buffet that is calling my name. it could also be my time of the month. i have a wife and baby who demand my attention. yadda yadda. we'll see. i'm gonna be like magmasilk and just lurk. i won't commit to showing up anywhere. but if i can make a meet i'll just show up and hit. no harm, no foul. no one calling me TFM McBailerton. |
