OK,

As inspired within the SoCal Mens Open thread, I am starting the first TT Cup.

The contest will be between East Coast, and West Coast board members for bragging rights (Sponsorship and prizes are in the works). If you wish to join in TT Cup competition all you must do is submit your name and the coast which you are representing. If your state is obviously on the East or West coast then you must join that team. (International players are not eligible for this team, but a future world cup one can be fabricated, in the future, so if you would like to organize a team for your country and can muster at least 12 board members to represent it, then please form a team.) If it is not a clear cut thing, you may choose your team. Please indicate your playing level and preferance to singles or doubles.

Each coast will have 12 players to compete + additional bench players.

The format will be 6 singles matches, and 3 doubles matches. 5/9 wins the cup.

Once we get a good amount of players on each team, we will vote for captains.

East Coast.

^^^ Yeah, it's real. A bunch of guys from the boards have been setting up local meetings from guys in their own area. 5 of us from south florida met up last weekend. You could see a bunch of photos here:

Kaptain karl is trying to get people from the Colorada area to meet up, and zapvor is working on getting a hit together in the Mid Atlantic. Granite is working on getting a bunch of people from Cali together as well.

So, we are all going to try and meet up. East vs. West!

If we could get this set up, it would be awesome.

I know zptennis is in Central Florida. He posts from time to time. Strong player> big kick serve. I think he is a 5.0.
