What is actual difference between String pattern 16/20 & 18/20,16/19 and so on.

Tighter patterns (more strings) generally give you more control and less spin capability. Looser patterns (fewer strings) generally give you more power and
more spin capability.

How does it(string pattern) applies to TE, GE?

Tighter strings typically cause more problems so I would guess that more strings would be worse for TE than fewer. But you might try asking this in the strings forum.

anything stiff will be bad to TE... stiff racquet, stiff strings, stiff stringbed....
