I want my grip to be a little pit smaller. I just want to see how I like it. I know that I can't buy another racquet with a new grip size cause I ain't got the money for that! Haha Could I just take off the replacement grip and put on an overgrip? Or would that be too small? What should I do?

Well, if you took off the "replacement" grip (the one that is currently ont here), you will see that what is left feels like cut wood in your hand. Now, if you were to wrap an overgrip, yes, it would be smaller, and yes, it will be uncomfortable.

There is always a way to make it bigger, yet not very many ways to make it smaller.

You can do that. In fact, lots of players do. Not a feel I'm fond of, but it's a way to see about a smaller grip.

Too much smaller? Who knows. Try it. If so, put your grip back.

would remove the origanal grip and replace w. two overgrips to start. that should make it smaller and give you a bit of cushion. if still too big, take one of the overgrips off leaving one and see how you like it. you could also buy a thinner replacement grip and install that stretching it as much as you reasonably can as you wrap it thus stretching it and making the grip smaller.

Best bet's just to hire a demo racquet from your local shop with the different grip size - you might not get the actual racquet you use but you'll probably get something close. This way you don't have to mess around with your own!

Another thing to try is to rewind your grip very tightly with a minimal amount of overlap. That could do the trick by itself.
