No need to be so dramatic - your comment was in poor taste to some (a fact you recognized and attempted to preface), but it should be grounds to leave. At least you have the class to apologize.

You are taking this way too far El Zed. You're insulted? He even wrote not to insult anybody in the original post, and it was his friends that said that; not him. It's similar to someone saying Jesus Christ when they're mad. Are you that thin-skinned and self-righteous? And your comment that someone without faith doesn't have common courtesy is actually more insulting; you're insulting the person not the faith.

Let's get back to talking tennis, not religion or how to insult other posters.

I love using my heavily leaded Youtek Rad Pro's! I haven't seen a lot of love for them on the boards though...

If I got upset every time someone talked about friends of theirs saying something that was insulting, I would be a very angry person. And El Zed was the one who derailed the thread by acting offended. There is such a thing as freedom of speech, and if you don't like someone's reference to their friends' comments, then just scroll down instead of trying to start a fight. It was a very innocent comment of his; IT WASN'T EVEN HIS COMMENT! This is my last post on this matter; if you wish to continue this conversation, just PM me.

I strongly suspect those who jump in on this thread already consider the Radicals their religion

Speaking of the Radical Agassi LE, I know Head was only going to make 5000 and ended up making many more, but did they make the original 5000, stop production, and then make the rest shortly after? Or did they make them all at one time. I ask because I just got #5014 (just missed the sub-5000s!) and would like to know if there is even the slightest chance of a difference between it and any Radical #5000 or below.
Oh, and why isn't Agassi's 1992 Wimbledon victory printed on the throat, too?

This is a topic for radicals, so pls. stay in theme, if you need to discuss something else, open another 3d, here we want to speak of swingweight strings and frames, and i expect to see that when i open the 3d.
And it would be nice like to see more photos of your radicals. |

I'm back.
TheLambsheadrep: An initial announcement said Head made 5000 for the US market. Apparently another announcement was that there would be 9000 worldwide. There is a hypothesis that this meant 5k for the USA + 9k for the rest of the world. But no one knows for sure. (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=108976). This irked the people who bought this because they thought it would be rare. But its no problem for people like me who really play with the racquet. The more there are floating around the world, the better for me if I need replacements. It's also been said in another thread that Agassi's Wimbledon championship happened before he endorsed Head. Hence it was not included on the racquet. |

And as makinao mentioned, Agassi wasn't sponsored by Head when he won Wimbledon. He was with Donnay then. |

Just curious, do they they all have the same specs (as far as QC will allow)?

^ I've never checked the balance on them, but I did weigh them on a postal scale about a year ago, and strung up with rubber band dampeners and overgrips, three weighed in at 12oz even, and the fourth came in at 12.1 (which could have been due to a thicker gauge string, since they all had different strings at the time).

Busted out the Ti.Rad OS sticks the other day expecting a rain session (warriors too light for wet balls), but it stayed dry. Was reminded of the surprising stability/flex/feel combo of these beasts when playing against an ex-ATP guy who occasionally shows up to play.
Though well off his former form, this guy can murder a flat ball when he has time to set up. He decided to attack me at net (usually a good play) during one game of dubs, but the Rads saved me three times. Just kept it in front with knees bent and it absorbed and returned each ball like a champ. The guy even shook his head and held his arms out like "Come on!" SO glad I stocked up on these beasts (have six, with my favorite coming from the excellent Doyle Overman here on TT). Haven't tried the MG or Youtek OS frames, but hard to imagine they could be better.

i just tried out a IG radical S and it's such an easy frame to play with! loved the easy power. i think its a must demo for most players, since we are not really 4.5s or higher

Are the Ti. and MG MP similar? The specs are almost the same, except stiffness. If I borrow a friend's Ti. Rad, will it give me a good glimpse on how the Microgel plays, swings etc? I used to play with a FXP, but the sw was higher and it was a bit sluggish. I'm hoping the mg is easier to swing (I'm planning on extending to 28")
