Default Hopefully, Jankovic is the next number one.

She is one of the few that doesn't shriek, use gamesmanship, and carries herself with some dignity and class. Sharapova and the Williams sisters are are thugs. I originally thought they would be like a like a strong acid and a strong base to yield water, but they are are more like in phase waves that increase the magnitude of each other. Maybe if Jankovic can batten down those two(actually three) evils we can start to enjoy tennis coverage, again. She certainly has the game, athletcism, look and personality(actually happy, and not angry, or bitter) to overshadow the rest.

Jankovic doesn't have the game to challenge Henin or Serena.

She's a great player. And yes it's nice that she doesn't have a overly loud grunt. I'm not sure about look though, lol.

you can add Mauresmo and Clijsters in the very selective list of players who play with dignity,no gimmicks and class;win or lose.

Never said she did. But what exacly do you mean by look? Like good looks (which if it is your mistaken) or the look of a champion?

Surely we can agree that Sharapova is better looking than Jankovic. Though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, on objective criteria like lucrative endorsements with people like Rolex, noone touches the Siberian Tiger.

I seriously doubt many people find Jankovic ugly. Is she stunningly gorgeous? No, but I doubt many men would turn her down. With that said, she can easily replace many of the top players who are popular for their looks.

Jankovic has a better body than Sharapova, and a better personality. I'll take Jankovic.

I find her ugly. Luckily for her, matches are not won on looks.

Jankovic is a buttaface. Shes got a banging body. However sharapova is tough to beat. Krilenko is up there too.

One of my favorite matches thus far in the tournament. And though I'd heard of Jankovic before, this was the first time I'd been able to see her play. Was particularly nice to see a player struggle a bit, but actually "buckle down", turn it around, and pull off the win. When she won, I applauded at my home. Very classy lady.

As yes, one of the things that was so pleasant, was that she struck the ball as well and as hard as anyone else out there in the women's game, and she wasn't shrieking.

She has the game to challenge Henin and certainly Serena, and I think the future will show, that though she might not make no.1 player, she will be around to challenge whenever she's in a tournament, a solid top 10 or even 5 player.

You guys must have some pretty high standards to call her "ugly" or a "[sic] buttaface"; I consider her to be one of the best-looking players on the women's tour. And she has a game to match her looks.
