Ok, i can get either of these shoes for a pretty good price. I am looking for a decently lightweight shoe, good cushioning (for instance NB 780's did not have enough) and i predominantley play of hard courts.
Which would u suggest? |

Stay away from the Vapor 3s, imo, they are terrible.

They're both pretty different shoes.
On one hand you've got the Barricade III, which is a tank of a shoe. Heavy side, lots of cushioning, lots of stability, all that. On the other hand, you've got the Vapor III, which is a ghost of a shoe. Lighter side, minimal cushioning and all that. However, Vapor III's are pretty bad for what they're designed for: a speed shoe While the Barricade does exactly what it's designed for: a beefy hardcourt shoe for the serious player. |

Vapor IIIs are good shoes. Gave me soo many blisters, but that's because I have wide feet and I like narrow shoes

lol yea i am tryin to save money and stay under 80 bucks but it is more difficult than i thought. I have a pretty narrow foot (fit a New balance D ok) and am looking for a decently light, well cushioned shoe. was gonna go for the Yonex 304's but heard they were too wide

Nike makes the narrowest shoes I've worn, and New Balance the widest.

Vapor III and IV aren't that different in my opinion. The III is like a stripped down version of the IV, without the added lateral support and heel cushioning.
