You didn't like Zombies?

Zombies was the only thing still maintaining my attention after I exhausted hunger for vanilla multiplayer in the first few months.

Anyone with Forza 4? It's pretty fun except trying to tune a McLaren F1 so it doesn't spin out with the slightest mistake is a pain

I've been playing Gran Turismo 5 for ps3 and I really enjoy it, I think its the best racing game for the PS3. How does the Forza gameplay compare to GT5?

Also, thinking of trying Batman Arkhem City..Anyone like it?

So, I'm knee deep in BF3 multiplayer. Anyone else here play rush? I'm all about the support class.

Which platform? I'm on xbox - jrstriker1206. I play either rush or conquest. I also want to do some co-op.

Just Xbox. I'll add you.

Here here! It's going to be severely underplayed, just like Demon Souls. I thought that one was too unforgiving, though, so I didn't play beyond 1:1. The addition of bonfires to Dark Souls is most welcome, and really serves to enhance an already stellar experience. What are your stats? I've got a SL90 pyromancer, still on my first playthrough. Only need to down Bed of Chaos and Seath.

I'm definitely getting MW3 when that comes out. I was curious does anyone use gaming headphones, like the tritton, turtle beach, or astro's...Does gaming headphones really improve one's game?

Depends on what you are using currently. If you are using speakers it will definitely allow you to hear things you wouldn't otherwise. If you are using cheap headphones, yes it will help. If you are using high end headphones for listening to music, it probably won't be much different.

Love Zombies too. It was the mode that made me play black ops really, and the zombie mode mainly.

Made it to round 28 with my 10 year old cousin on Kino Der Toten once. Unfortunately he doesn't have the patience to reach 30 plus, and after some months I myself got a bit bored of just playing zombies too.

But it's a lot of fun if you're still on the mood to play it.

I have a set of turtle beaches.

As far as gaming advantage, it really helps you pick up on things like footsteps and direction of enemy fire in COD.

In BF3, it can help you locate the direction of an incoming tank, sniper fire, or incoming helicopter.

Will it take you to the top of the leader boards every time? Probably not. But it can be helpful.

If you don't have a good speaker set-up on your TV/Computer, this can be an affordable way to get better sound from your game and for me, makes the game more immersive.

Another advantage, is the micro phone set-up is a lot better over the standard xbox headset and if my wife or daughter is sleeping, I can just turn off the speakers and pop on the head sets and play without worrying about waking them up with sounds from the game.

Agree- BOps was way better than MW2 for weapon balance. No OMA, dangerclose or refill for nades with scavenger.

For PC dedicated servers eliminated lag and banned hackers which was great in Bops. I can't believe that MW3 is going back to p2p for PC and will only have dedis for unranked play. Now we get all the garbage of IP blocking, inability to ban hackers, failed host migration, modded lobbies and unexplained connection drops again- hooray!

Yeah I bought a pair of gaming headsets last night, they do make a difference. The sounds of gunfire, grenade explosions, footsteps are enhanced and more noticeable, it makes you feel like your actually there fighting in a war.

Does anybody feel that this gen's games have been awful? I'm really not liking the whole interactive movie trend, nor how every story has to be so "dark" and "deep", how you can finish most games in 5-10 hours, how everything is so realistic it takes away all artistic creativity etc.

It seems things started going downhill and fast when Wii/PS3/X360 came. Games aren't fun anymore, save for a few exceptions. I blame FPS-crowd...

The Photorealistic, movie-like trends seem to be the rave today. But that's not to say there aren't a lot of games with different artistic styles besides conventional photorealism. Off the top of my head, I can think of plenty of games that have a unique artistic style and are far from "realistic: Team Fortress 2, Star Wars: The Old Republic, every single Mario game, World of Warcraft.

I still enjoy Super Mario Bros. 3, and I can beat that in well under 40 minutes. It's all about perspective.

Maybe I just need to buy a Nintendo console again. It's seems like they suddenly stopped making any fun games or great RPG's for playstation when PS3 came.
