I agree with lex. It looks sweet! I'm curious to know how it plays...

Just hit with this setup for the first time today, and I love it. Tons of spin and control, very comfy, and good feel and control. I will definitely go with this setup again, assuming it keeps tension and playability for a reasonable amount of time.
For a long time I played with MSV Focus Hex 17L 55lbs/ Gosen OGSM 17 57lbs on my microgel radical.

It was a good all around setup with spin, control, and feel.

Thanks! It looks really sick against the mainly-black hm 200g frames. Plays great too!

As I said above the pic, I really like it so far. I have only played with full multi or syngut jobs until now, but I love the poly/syngut hybrid. It feels better on all of my shots, and it performs especially well when I go for broke on (semi-western) forehand and (2H) backhand winners. I have never played with a string this thin before, so my only concern is that it may not hold up very well. Hopefully I get good durability out of this setup; if I do, then I think I have finally found my go-to string job. Its pretty cheap too!

I was thinking about maybe having to go with 17g OGSM if the 18g doesn't hold up as well as I'd like. How was the durability on your setup? I'm not a string-breaker, so hopefully this setup works out

I'm not a string breaker either. Durability was good enough that often I would restring before it broke.

Right now I've moved on to a different setup: Pure Storm Tour GT with full OGSM 17 at 57lbs. Compared to the hybrid, full OGSM has better comfort/feel and slightly more power, but less spin and less durability.

How's stringing the HEXtreme? I've heard that it can be a pain to do...

How does it play compared to Twisted Razor?I thought that HEXtreme was supposed to be very still, with little feel...

i prefer the hextreme. way easier to string with. spin potential with the hextreme is not as good, but i like the feel and playablity of the hextreme way better.

x-white 99 with signum pro tornado

this set up looks so cool with the donnay line as it is almost an identical color match to the shiny portions of the frames
